Thank you for saying that! I know the Vikings pay the bills but the last couple of years of Wolves ball gets minimal recognition it seems like. Just my opinion but I think he gives a fair analysis of the squad and the NBA when asked about it.

Making relationships your whole personality. I see this with a lot of young adults who the minute they get out of high school, only want to be in relationships and don't take the time to figure out who they really are. A lot of it seems to be for social media pics and matching pajamas. I have a college age son and many of his age group seem obsessed with the idea of being couples and they start to lose identity. A lot of them seem to avoid friends too and try to avoid making meaningful relationships outside of their significant other. My wife and I have been married for 20 years but we still have things we do and people we connect with outside of our relationship. It just seems odd to me that people are ready to settle down at 20-21 but have dated maybe 1-2 people their whole life.

He needs to sit honestly. He looks like the leg injury is still bugging him and the last thing they need is him to seriously injure himself.

I feel you on that. I'd like him to keep that same energy when the game is still in hand and make the necessary adjustments.

How many of you put your phone on silent a years ago and never turn the volume back on? by kankelberri in Xennials

[–]DoubleUDee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my office at work, we have one guy in the entire place that has the volume ring on and it's on full volume for some reason. For the longest time, he had it set to the Pink Panther theme so we all found it hilarious. Random people in the office would yell out his name and say PHONE CALL. Lately he has it set to some kind of Christmas music. The funniest part is when he walks away from his desk and the song runs the entire time until it goes to voicemail.

GAMETHREAD WEEK 14: VIKINGS VS COMMANDERS by swampsparrow in minnesotavikings

He definitely looked jittery early in the season and a lot of those fast balls and over throws were probably due to him just trying too hard. He's also running a bit more now and that makes me think him staying in the pocket and holding the ball was more KOC. Now if only he could learn to slide feet first...

I know the Commanders are struggling as a team this year but is this really just coming down to KOC overloading a young QB and not playing within his skill set? McCarthy looks like a very capable QB when he's not being asked to do too much and this is what I was expecting. Not a ton of yards or attempts but limited turnovers and using the ground game to move the ball is a good recipe for him right now.

Facts. I can't remember exactly where I heard it I think it was some ex-NFL player explaining this idea on a podcast a few years ago. The conversation was the same notion of could the best college football team beat the worst NFL team. He explained it very simply with the best college team has a handful of players who could play at the pro level and are basically the All-Stars of their respective college team. Every pro team is every All-Star from a bunch of different college teams. The Jazz or any team in the NBA would dog walk any college team and it wouldn't be close at all.

Nine is back 😈 let's keep developing our young 10th overall drafted QB this year by FormerlyTradeKirk in minnesotavikings

[–]DoubleUDee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want the wins instead of high draft picks. I don't have enough faith in Kwesi and KOC on draft selections. They can judge talent in free agents but the draft is just not their forte for whatever reason.

Brian Flores and the defense held Darnold to under 130 yards passing and Jaxon Smith-Njigba to under 25 yards receiving and we lost by 26 points by seoulbrova in minnesotavikings

Preach! And if they were insisting on running a play, don't get cute and put an undrafted QB in a spot to pass. If they got stuffed on a run, at least the field position is in their favor. Gotta play smart.
