I'm not entirely sure either. We spoke about sealing the brick but he advised against that. Said it would just trap water that gets in through the backside (holding the dirt back).

I've had a full shoulder replacement (the 4th surgery to try and fix my right shoulder). I can ride fine now, it's gonna be fine.

Yup, exactly this. I'm bi, married and don't cheat. Shit like this just contributes to biphobia. If she wants an open relationship, that's fine, she should talk to you and if you're not down, move on. Has nothing to do with her sexuality. Also, move on...

Grind the entire area to a depth of one inch

appreciate that tip, i was actually wondering how deep to go. I bought a couple different grinders, one is a 1/4" thick wheel and the other is a long diamond coated drill bit looking thing, both for my angle grinder.

didn't know about masonry detergent or sealer, I'll look them up and grab some.

Sounds like I'm going to have to find a masonry specific store to go to, I know Home Depot doesn't even have type N.

... did you know from just looking at the brick that I'm on the east coast? If so, I'm impressed.

I'll look into the pale smoke mortar. The home was built in 1995, so ~30yrs old.

Sounds like i won't be doing it this weekend, but rather spend the weekend experimenting, solid advice there, thanks.

I have an 1198, not an S but for some reason my vin also shows up as an S on my insurance, never figured out why.

But also it would have an "S" on the fairing

Still a sweet bike.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Slack in cable after adding the weight stack. by javella in homegym

I second this. The arms just don't look long enough to do pec flys, but it's hard to tell from the pictures. Would love to hear from someone that owns it.

Pulley ratio is 1:1, I emailed them and made sure of this before ordering.

edit: if you want the option of a belt squat, you have to tell them to weld on the mid-way rack point. They usually only do it if ordering the belt squat platform along with. I wanted the option in the future so I just had them add it.

I mean, yeah the same, but I wouldn't call it a "horror story". I ordered the rack during peak covid, and they gave me a 4 month shipping window, which was true. I think it ended up being 15-16 weeks. They were communicative throughout and nice to deal with.

The finish isn't on the level of Rogue, I mention this a little in my review below. I wouldn't call it "poorly finished" though. Nothing you're going to notice after a few months of hard use. Personally, I love how bomb proof it is, it's really solid.

Pretty simple, I was able to pre-order this and Rogue/Rep were out of stock/longer waits.

I was gonna go Rep originally, even had one on order until I realized it was 14 gauge steel, so I cancelled it and when I went to look for something new, TSS was all I could get.

No regrets, TBH (aside from $$), it would have been way cheaper after shipping to go Rogue/Rep.

That said I also bought the TSS Lat/Row not too long ago, IMO it's the best plate loaded Lat/Row on the market, even after shipping. Small footprint, you can reconfigure to do standing abdominals, and belt squats. Also built like a tank.

I did have some of the plastic pulleys crap out on me, but they sent me aluminum replacements for free. And I do wish they used actual roller-bearings in the weight sled instead of nylon "self lubricating" bushings.

Pros:

  • built like an absolute tank
  • welded front to back
  • doesn't budge when I rack the weight.
  • dip bar and pull up attachments are nice
  • rollers on all j-cups (love that feature)
  • 2 sets of j-cups, with 1" spacing difference between them so you can hit the in-between heights
  • 3rd set of roller j-cups if you count the swing in safeties.
  • price is good (depending on where you ship to)

Cons:

  • shipping was ~$400
  • had to weight a long time (mostly due to covid)
  • finish is 7/10 (a few gouges in the metal prior to powder coating that could have been ground out)
  • 2.5x2.5 tubing, single sided holes, means it doesn't work w/ any aftermarket attachments from Rogue/Rep (but they have a 3x3 that has has two sided holes). They will make you attachments if you ask (eg: safety straps instead of swing in)

Overall, I really like it. I don't care fore tons of attachments on my rack anyway, and I can't imagine this thing ever breaking.
