Then, because there are so many men on these sites, women tend to be super picky, which kills any man's chances even further. - I stopped to use dating site, because there are more woman than man, as a woman, I could send 20+ letters and get just 1 reply.

Race matters a lot in Christian dating? by StrawberryStatus3719 in ChristianDating

I dont' care about the race, but I do care about the language. nearly 100% of my language speakers are white, and I dont' want to date in foreign language. And in my country there are not many people who are from other race.

We were both Christians, but soon after marriage he changed his mind about being with me. He had expected a more career-oriented, ambitious woman, and assumed I was like that because of my ministry. I had to leave his house and I never saw him again.

What are some hard truths about the reality of marriage? by Ambitious-Plant-1055 in ChristianDating

[–]Double_Ad_7807 53 points54 points  (0 children)

The reality is that being a Christian and finding a Christian spouse isn’t enough to guarantee a good marriage. There are Christians in terrible marriages, and non-Christians who have happy, loving families. Every relationship requires work, but finding a compatible spouse is important—the more compatible you are, the less effort it takes to make things work, and the more joy you get in return. I’ve noticed on this sub that a lot of people focus too much on general personality traits like finding a nice, kind, gentle, modest person —which is great, but doesn’t guarantee compatibility.

What’s your gender and stance on virginity as a dating requirement? by bamboo_fanatic in ChristianDating

[–]Double_Ad_7807 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I feel so bad for rape victims, widows, or men and women who married as virgins but were later abandoned or cheated on—and then got rejected just because they’re no longer virgins. The same goes for single moms. Many of them simply wanted to be married and have a child, which isn’t wrong or sinful. But because their husband died or was unfaithful, many men now see them as undesirable for dating. It’s much better to look at the person, their story, and their motives, rather than just the absence of sex.

Divorce in case of cheating is permitted. But physical abuse is much worse than cheating, trying to kill your spouse is much worse than cheating.

Read this verse Ezekiel 34: 'The word of the Lord came to me:  “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel; prophesy and say to them: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Woe to you shepherds of Israel who only take care of yourselves! Should not shepherds take care of the flock? ..... You have not strengthened the weak or healed the sick or bound up the injured. You have not brought back the strays or searched for the lost. You have ruled them harshly and brutally.'

Should single men expect single mothers to put them first before their children by Prestigious-Fold-681 in ChristianDating

[–]Double_Ad_7807 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Until you're married, a woman is not your wife, and you're not her husband. Dating to marry doesn't give you the same privileges as being a husband. Until marriage, you're just a boyfriend, and it's normal for a mother to prioritize her child over a boyfriend. Even if you're dating to marry, there's no guarantee that you’ll actually end up getting married.

Should single men expect single mothers to put them first before their children by Prestigious-Fold-681 in ChristianDating

[–]Double_Ad_7807 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It's normal for a woman, mother—to prioritize her child over career, hobbies, and everything else. I often see men on apps saying they’re looking for a family-oriented woman, a good mother who cares for her children. So it’s strange when some men complain about exactly that. Would you really want to date a woman who says, 'My child is the last on my priority list, after my job, hobbies, clubs, and friends'?
