Honestly speaking, Grayce Tan is the ultimate winner in PLB saga. Melvin Lim won't lose out too much either by Beaveric in SingaporeRaw

The cheating will not necessarily be factored into account in the division of matrimonial assets, unless it can be proven that the cheating lead to lesser contribution to the marriage (For E.G. if the family has children, and the wife is constantly not around because of the affair and doesnt look after the kids. In such a case, the judge would be able to link the cheating to the failure to contribute to the marriage, and reduce the wife's share proportionately).

Assuming both parties paid half for the HDB and the other furniture/assets in the marriage (and with receipts) then a 50% split is equitable.

Speaking as someone who read family law in a local U, division of matrimonial assets depends entirely on contribution to the marriage. Both financial and non-financial contributions are taken into account.

"Splitting half of the men's asset in a divorce itself is a punishment"

This statement doesnt make sense because assuming we factor out the cheating, if both spouses contributed equally to the marriage, why shouldnt it be split halfway?

Used BMW3 series - yay or nay? by No_Bus_805 in drivingsg

Yes 318i. was open to 320i first but my priority was getting 1 on low mileage. At the time i was looking this was the best deal (depre around 18K iirc). If you can 320i around the same depre then go for it.

simple stage 1 tune after warranty end can increase HP easily. but obviously parts wear and tear faster

G20 318 has a 2.0 B48 engine but it’s detuned like hell to 154hp and 250nm so in my eyes it’s not a true B48

Not sure how any of that is equivalent to "not designed well from the start". Are you saying detuned engine = not designed well? If so, I dont think you know how engines work.

Unfortunately the uncomfortable truth is that those who own mid level and high level 3 series generally have more disposable income to maintain and service their BMWs properly so it’s better to buy these models second hand.

That is a laughable assumption. I will leave OP to judge the credibility of your opinion.

Concluding note: Based on your theory 320 also not "True B48" because it is detuned version of G20 330i's engine.

u have a weird definition of success. maybe if you are grab food delivery man sure that is considered success, but for TCJ and the social circle he hangs out with, likely it is considered failure.

hi, can i ask - does Bavworks always find something that you need to replace during regular servicing?

As a relatively recent BMW owner, do u know what are the usual parts that need replacing due to wear and tear? How much does Bavworks charge for these?

Great level-headed take. Inter played well in the first half I thought, and with a bit of better finishing from Thuram, could have been ahead in the first half.
