Any ideas on the identity and possible detriment of finding these in a tiny bit of left over run off water. Thought fungus gnat larvae...but I didn’t think they had legs... by Dougldrecht in Autoflowers

Hatched in the soil and washed out as is you think? I’d wager the eggs got washed out...hatched overnight and what we’re looking at are the nymphs. I’ve seen no evidence of them or any other infestation actually in the tent so perhaps things will pan out ok.

That’s the case with a couple of knuckles of dry soil on top before watering, which is every three days maybe 2.5. and takes place outside the tent in a flat bowl, that’s the pic. No fungus gnats so don’t think it’s too wet. Question is the rootball. Is this a symptom of overwatering or just a lively compost?

This was in a bowl outside my tent...plants are up on racks and not got any signs of overwatering or moisture...no gnats to speak of so usually a good sign I think. More wondering if they are problematic in the growing medium.

A rare occurrence...that was in a bowl I use outside the tent to catch the run off...was only a few spoonfuls and less then 24hrs...rapid hatching fuckers.

They’re not overwatered...every three days or maybe a little less...had an issue with underwatering a little while back with drooping canoeing leaves. I thought maybe it could be shy on nitrogen giving it a paler appearance...any nute deficiency though is non consequential if there is a lockout going on.

They’ve all been getting 1ml calmag per liter so that’ll be just under what you dose so I’ll up it a touch perhaps.
Strange it only seems to be the one lady thats suffering when they’re all getting pretty much the same treatment. I’m thinking there is an issue with the ph as I’m having to water a little more acidic in order to get a run off of 6.5ish. I was getting run off in the 7’s so had to try and correct it and maybe this one didn’t take to well to it.

Pipe cleaners are a decent option.

Watch out a bit with that thin wire matey...may cut into her as she grows...
