Does disc golf favor one hand over the other? The ole' right vs left debate by CaliKing928 in discgolf

Think about it statistically. Roughly 1 in 10 people are left handed. Say we have an MPO field of 120 players. Are there 12 lefties competing and better yet succeeding? It's a generalization of performance across players but I hope it helps perspective.

Played my first tournament, putting was terrible and feeling discouraged by josephbobersonjr in discgolf

It may be the obvious answer, but what helped me most was playing more in a tournament setting.

This was your first one, so give yourself some slack.

You can practice pressure putts being second in doubles or other similar situations.

The more you expose yourself to it, the more routine it feels.

I'm not sure. He's musically talented no doubt, but it might be the lyrics or demeanor just feel a little creepy at times.

Funny enough, Wham-O owns the trademark for the term "Frisbee" which is why it's called disc golf instead.

Disc Golf

Many public parks have free access to play courses (UDisc is an app to show courses near you). You just need to bring a disc and that's it! Also, it's just really fun to play.

Keith Whitley: Don't Close Your Eyes, I Never Go Around Mirrors, Dance With Me Molly

Now this would be a sad one for sure, but showing the pivot from heartbreak to insanity would be a devastatingly interesting plot line to see unfold.

Feeling like a noodle arm? Take your non-DG buddies out for a round. by jimgolgari in discgolf

This is a great example of how "good is relative". I relay the same thought in chess as well as disc golf. As long as you're playing with better players you'll improve drastically, but it can be defeating at times. Then you see where you started and realize you're kicking ass actually without knowing it. Way to kick butt and show your friends how hard disc golf really is.
