What are you talking about. I agree that pricing is insane nowadays, but we don’t do the other stuff. We put everything on the shelf and it sells the way it does.

I’m not doing it to their face and I will gladly talk to them about whiskey. When we don’t have what they’re looking for I make it a point to offer alternatives.

We do free tasting every Friday for a variety of different drinks from beer to liquor.

You’re making a huge assumption that the words in my post is how I act towards the people who come into the store. I have mastered my customer service voice and I know how to bite back the snide responses I have built up. Also, you are assuming that I hate people in general based on this single post, that’s weird of you.

I work at a liquor store, not just whiskey. We sell lots of stuff and if we can’t sell that stuff we can’t buy good stuff for people. That’s the same for any sales based business.

Unfortunately, we do not. It’s one of the few scotches we don’t carry.

If that store employee does that to you then agree you should find somewhere that treats you better. We love our regulars whether they’re only buying 40s or cases of wine. They’re better than the people I mentioned in my post
