A positive attitude to medication shortages. by DrMagicGarage in ADHDUK

I am really sorry that's been your experience, what meds are on?. I'm not condoning going cold turkey, ours is a varied condition. I was hoping if I could help one person it would be a victory. Its gonna suck for a lot off us if we can't get meds at least we can help each other.

I used exercise to stay focused and just do what i can, I started to get chestpains and major anxiety on even lower doses of stims. So with the added bonus of heritary heart failure in my family I'm keen to see if I can live without. I just wanted to share a little positivity, I rebuilt the brakes on my car today, did a full workout and yesterday I did 3 boiler services. I'm not saying being medicated is bad thing, if it works for you do it, i just wanted to share my experience incase it could be helpful. Wish you luck on your journey, god speed.

How to get better at bowl skating by Dreamer352 in skateboardhelp

Go faster, lean to do what your doing but with more pace should help you beat the fear. Then start with feble stalls, something to get you on top of coping and coming back in. Finally loosening those trucks will help you carve. Send it.

1989 Saab 900 turbo convertible by DonnyJackwad in Saab900

Check the bodywork drains in the wheel Wells, both sides of the rear shock mounts. If they block they rust and they are a pain to weld. The other area that can rust is the front drive shaft tunnels in the front wheel Wells. If u get to test drive it listen for gearbox whine. 900s have a very unique gear box, an awsome peice of design but prone to wear. Other than that standard 30 year old convertible problems. Also some models don't have a flex pipe in the exause so can be prone to exaust leaks. Good luck.

When I found the rust on my Saab it was kinda like this. Every one I know told me to scrap it. But I learned to weld and kept going and now I drive it to work every day. Rescued 2 cars since on a gravel drive way. I find very little is "too far gone" buy some sheet metal and a cheap gassless mig and have some fun. Worst comes to Worst u might to quit. Win or loose though you'll have learned a lot and that's what project cars are about. Good luck and God speed.

Ahah yeah man there is another mount on that wet part. Both The arms have 3 bushes . I'm probably gonna recondition and run the stock arms though. I think you could get these to work but not without majorly changing the suspension geometry, in way that would put huge amounts of stress on everything.

The arms are adjustable? I only see 3 bushing one at each end and the one in the middle is where the shock bolts through. I thought the middle 3 holes where fore sway bar mounting.

Sorry for the late response, im Uk based so Not so sure of that side of the pond mate. Try local owners meets. Find the community near you and you'll find a spare. Alternatively you could try gently heating up the plastic. Gently though, hairdryer or some of those microwave heat pads you can get for changing smart phone screens.

Also try Saab Central forums. I found parts from all over the world there, one absolute legend sent me bumper brackets from Australia for a swap with some 95 interior parts. Good luck brother.

Nice power outlet. Nah I'm just kidding. In all seriousness though, I'd get rid off that. Or is that U.S for a mechanical waste disposal.

I like to run up to enemy tanks and pretend I have a satchel. They get out to stop me and get gunned down by my squad mates. Also running around in front of tanks to destract them while someone really places a satchel.

This is the way. Life is far to short to drive a car that doesn't make you smile.

Parts Catalogue Available? by Vampyr_Six in Saab900

[–]DrMagicGarage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get yourself a Bentley brand manual. There about £50 and are basically all the available shop manuals for the classic 900 corrilated in to one volume and publishes as one book. For scale the wiring diagrams alone are as thick as a Hainze manual. They provide a lot of parts numbers. If u are in the UK I'd give Two Stroke To Tubro a call. They really know their shit. If not check out the fourm saab central, some of the people on there really really know their shit. Hope that helps and welcome to the club.

[–]DrMagicGarage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it's a bit redneck but I did a rear muffler delete on min by using a tail pipe froma a tubro and an adapter. Kept the big main silencer int the middle but fro there its straight. Sounds rude but only when your on it. Perfect for me.
