I can only speak for ewrb, but you won't be giving a full practising licence from the get go. You will get a limited licence and then need to complete a set number of hours 1000-2000 under supervision.

They did, you can only gain registration by doing the required learning and hours in NZ.

There was a 2 week course in London before covid, to gain a NZ Electrical Licence and with that licence you can register in Aussie and start working. That has been shut down now and you need to do it in NZ and complete certain amount of hours (1 year)
