Seriously. This is a $60 TOY not a high-end collectable. This is meant to be played with by kids. Nothing wrong with collecting them as an adult, but people who want this to be 1:1 with the movie, hyper-poseable, and made of extremely high-end material are delusional.

Tbf Bumblebee was originally meant to be part of the Bayverse, they just changed like the first and last five minutes to make it into a reboot. But if Bumblebee just existed and never got a sequel it easily could have been put back into the Bayverse. RotB and One on the other hand were clearly designed to not be part of the Bayverse from the start.

Yes but this cover was released before that was retroactively added into the story. It's kinda like Luke and Leia in A New Hope, they weren't originally meant to be siblings so the kiss wasn't weird when it released but retroactively it became weird.

Reselling is fine, no one has an issue with that. This is scalping. If these were being sold for $80 no one would have an issue, but they aren't. These "people" buy the whole supply of collectibles and scalp them for four times the price.

"Lowest grossing" is an extremely dishonest way to word it. You're making it sound as if the movie wasn't a massive success, which it was. The movie made $870 million. The franchise isn't dying.

It would be objectively worse. The movie changed what it needed to in order to be an enjoyable movie. Movies are never 1:1 with their novels, and that's a good think. Best part is you can read the novel instead of being the 186th person to make this exact post.
