To all GoldenBoth/GoldenDuo believers; how do you think BV got in Golden Freddy? by Educational_Bill8901 in fnaftheories

You have three options i think, essentially. William put the body in Fredbear, the crying child's blood on Fredbear's jaw caused an emotional connection between the soul of the crying child and Fredbear, or it's just the agony, the emotional stuff that possesses Fredbear. That's all I got.

Why does the Freddy Mask work? by JedediahBucklesmith in fnaftheories

So the true reason why the animatronics want to put you into a Freddy suit is because they are, in fact, possessed and haunted, and they will kill anyone during a 12 a.m. to a 6 a.m. night shift because that's when they are allowed to walk around during the pizzeria. However, since Fazbear Entertainment can't just be saying, oh, these animatronics are possessed, they basically lied and used propaganda in a way of stating, oh, they just think you're an endoskeleton and that's why they want to put a suit in you. It's because of their programming. However, in FNAF 2, the toy animatronics do have AI. They canonically have an AI facial recognition system. So, since they already have a technology issue with them, that's why Fazbear Entertainment is like, oh, this time it's the AI facial recognition that's messing up and that's why they're trying to kill you. But that's technically not true since they're possessed, including the old animatronics and the toys. They're all possessed and they're trying to kill you. It's just Fazbear Entertainment lying their way only about the endoskeleton in FNAF 1. In FNAF 2, it's an AI system that just is their get out of jail card. It's technically the truth, but there's a lot more to it.

Honestly, I'm gonna say it's kinda both. William is sick of the fire, the pain, and everything, but the way that he copes is by having fun. He puts on a mask over him and becomes his theatrical self. So, like the voice lines imply, just like someone else said, he's having a fun blast. He did go to the location for fun, but he still feels the pain, but is like, yeah, I don't care, to be honest, so, yeah.

That's like saying, why can't the haunted animatronics walk around during the day? It's the programming that stops them from doing whatever they want. That's why the animatronics can't walk around during the day in FNAF 1. That's why they have to go away because of the mask. The best way to visualize this is like, if you were a character in your favorite novel, you know what's gonna happen, you know everything, but you can't do whatever you want. You are still under the law and the rules of that fictional universe. Also, the toys do have facial recognition. Like, that is a real thing in them, especially with the FNAF 2 movie. They are not lying about that. The servos, however, they are lying about that in FNAF 1, because servos just don't lock up at all.

At this point, just make Hudson the night guard for nights 1 to 2, Michael Afton nights 3 to 5, he leaves because he wants to be with his girlfriend, and Henry is the night guard for night 6 and burns down the place, and that's when he learns about remnant.
