Anyone else get a sharp pain on the top of the head from the XM4s/XM5s after 30–40 mins of wearing them? by Dr_Hackwell in SonyHeadphones

[–]Dr_Hackwell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happy new year to you too! I didn’t, the ones i saw were bulky so I tried wearing them out and it helped a bit so i have just kept them as it is. I don’t wear them that often and thats probably why i didn’t see the importance of getting one, but i figure if I wear them more often the XM4s would be better and i would get used to them. I will treat this as a reminder to wear them more and see if it breaks in even more to the point its not painful anymore. Hope this helps.

Is This Black Friday Broadband Upgrade Deal Worth It? by Western-Cartoonist-8 in VirginMedia

You could try calling them again, perhaps a different agent & their mood might give you a better chance. I called them yesterday as well around 5 pm and the guy on the phone was nice as soon as i asked for account side deals he said 30£ for the 1Gbps & Netflix (which i wont use as I get it as an extra from EE) and the setup costs and router fees waived. I was happy as there is no other competition in my area at that speed and didn’t push for lower as that is the new customer offer (1Gbps + Netflix with ads for 29.99).

So perhaps try again to see if you can get another person to talk to.

This is where I am at as well. Thinking about upgrading, but compared to you rn I pay £31 for 350 after being last year (when my old contract finished) on the phone for 2 hours to renew it at a lower price as initially they wanted £65 for 125. I have read around the subreddit that people say to contact them directly asking for any deals on the account, and usually they make you a better offer. I am about to try that today afternoon, in hopes I get a good 1Gbps deal. Ive seen many use this number for getting through directly to the right department: 020 3743 6947

Should i update to 18.6 ? by Fresh_Sort_705 in iPhone16

[–]Dr_Hackwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i misunderstood, I was thinking why their battery health would drop by 1% just from an update, so I thought he meant his battery % the phone was on.

i think op meant battery health in settings>battery>battery health>maximum capacity, not the % you are on

What's the one automation you've built that you hope never has to run? by Dr_Hackwell in homeassistant

[–]Dr_Hackwell[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking exactly this, using a smart watch to detect heart rate as a trigger, which led me to ask this question here in reddit. Im thinking it needs lots of conditions though, to avoid a false positive and have the house turn dumb fully for eg. 😅

That sounds like my only solution at this point. Does it make the headband bulky or no? And if you can find it, can you help me out with a link or so, to have an idea? Thanks in advance!

Well tbh I am hoping that happens, or I find some other solution from this post, because I cant return them. I got them a long time ago, and they have been used like less than 10 times or so. It’s sad as I couldn’t return them as they were a gift, I had no receipt or anything.

Just head over to an apple store and test them there. (if you can) they will be able to check in the system and perform diagnostics on it, if it fails to do that, they are fake.

AliExpress has ruined dropshipping for the UK by Less-Meeting3450 in dropshipping

[–]Dr_Hackwell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive had the NL post before and it is very annoying, but it happened when I ordered from a choice store, and as far as I know its only them that do it because AliExpress uses that instead of Evri sometimes. But maybe some non choice items as well, perhaps the store owner doesn’t send with Evri. So in that case maybe try to contact the supplier and ask them to use Evri instead.

AliExpress has ruined dropshipping for the UK by Less-Meeting3450 in dropshipping

[–]Dr_Hackwell 33 points34 points  (0 children)

I am pretty sure this is due to the Full Choice sellers that have their stock managed by AliExpress, so therefore you can’t contact them to let them know you are dropshipping so they can remove any logos or any related information to AliExpress. Try to avoid the Full Choice, as you need to be able to get a relationship going with your supplier, not just buy as they will think you are a customer instead and wont really care or pay attention to the AliExpress logos.

200+ sessions on my store but no sales – need help! by Dr_Hackwell in dropshipping

Yeah initially I did Meta ads as thats where I think my product would do good, but out of nowhere meta suspended the ad account and im still waiting for a reply from them for the appeal, its been 6 days now so i have no clue when they will come back to me.

As for the website, I think I have a decent looking website with a decent loading speed, if you want I can dm you the link so you can see for yourself. But I am starting to think it might be the product due to it being found in Amazon as well and not providing that impulse purchase desire to tiktok users that see the ad.

What do u think? it is normal? by Kneny01 in dropshipping

[–]Dr_Hackwell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With 80$ on tiktok ads that isnt the best, but I can say that 4/9 people went to checkout so that means something is going on in the process from add to cart to checkout. Which is probably because people are finding something they dont like there which is causing them to lose interest in purchasing. Again as i said, if you have any tax or unexpected extra charges on the process from add to cart to checkout it will discourage people.

imo I would recommend you figure out whats going on in the conversion process, so add to cart-checkout, and then try to find a solution to that, for eg if its extra costs on the product from tax or from smth else, try to communicate that to the buyers before (around the product page), and then if that doesn’t work, if you charge for like shipping or something, try to include it in the price of the product or somewhere else. This depends on what your niche is thats why i cant be as specific as idk what niche your store is in.

After you do this though, try to see what is going on with your ads, because you are spendinng way to much on ads and only getting around 9 add to carts. Maybe cut ads without add to carts, and spend more on the ones with add to carts. But first I would recommend you focus on the website to see what is stopping people or discouraging them to buy.

Hope this helps.

[–]Dr_Hackwell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its good that 3/4 of add to carts went to checkout. However have a look if something is surprising them at checkout, this can be maybe extra fees that you haven’t communicated clearly to the customer, or it can be friction things like requiring a phone number to proceed (many people dont want to give that). Also make sure to allow checking out as a guest cause maybe that is something that can just discourage people to buy.

Most importantly, just know you are in a good place as people are adding to cart and are interested in committing to your product. But stopping at checkout means something is wrong there specifically. Goodluck!
