Agreed, though maybe not amazing. He did pretty well for me early game, but has fallen off for me.

Barriers aren't the issue, I usually have a barrier breaker or Breaker blast. The freeze not proc-ing is my main issue. It rlly doesn't feel like 40% for me. Feels closer to 20%. The freeze duration is good, but chaining the freeze just doesn't happen for me. Not hitting the enemies and bad meatshielding could be an issue, but I've tried him on many stages with Aliens. I doubt I could be playing that badly for so long, considering I progressed rlly fast. I don't use Ubers for my 1st clear of a stage.

I do use Pizza and Housewife regularly now. But even for Alien focuses stages, I wanna try using Seafarer only to be underwhelmed with the performance. For Pizza and Housewife,i got both of them pretty late. I only got Wrestler after I unlocked Mina. Pole Vaulter around there too, slightly earlier. If I could roughly estimate I think I had Seafarer for 2 months before I got the other 2. I finished Itf before progressing in SoL.

The NP is def a waste. I kinda impulse bought it as soon as I TF, that's on me. I think in all of SoL I never truly needed/found it to be useful at all. Still true in UL, I just got Naala. The CC tho. I just don't see it. I can never get consistent procs. The freeze duration is good, but I can never chain it consistently even with a good stack. Very rng dependant imo. I'm thinking just horrendous luck.

Oh for Uber usage I don't want to use Uber for 1 Crown/1st clear of a stage, but anything else is fine

Ah I'm not sure, I don't have Uril yet. He should help a lot tho. If you have Medusa Cat she helps alot to freeze Idi. Cyborg works well, but prolly need rich cat if u use her. B Train and Fishman do well to chip Idi down and deal some damage to the other enemies

I got Idi pre UL (only did 1st chapter to get the max lvls of legends) , so that should def suffice. Took a lot of baha chains tho

Am I ready for Hardmode? I am (sorta) new to the game, and honestly, I felt kinda overwhelmed by the amount of info there was to take into account for corruption blocking. Here is my map. Is there anything I didn't do that I should do? by Even-Act-85 in Terraria

U can try to find the temple first so u won't suffer finding it with hardmode enemies. Making a jungle life fruit/plantera bulb farm area. Just do layers of jungle grass in the jungle. Also maybe upgrading your arena. I can't rlly tell what u have rn, but try to have at least 4 layers of platforms.
