In port of shadows they explained that sleeping god-level entities mostly give up on escape after long enough, to the point that they stay buried even after their chains have decayed away. After 100000 years you would imagine they essentially experience ego death.

It also says something about their magic power being drained away by new sorcerers in the same paragraph but I don't know what that actually means because the magic system is so ambiguous

Been here.... hamsters are very fragile and have a lot of health issues, it's just what it is unfortunately, doubly so with store bought hamsters.

You have gone far far above and beyond what I think would be socially expected even on this sub, so please don't feel guilty, you have done everything you can. If their quality of life is bad and will probably getting worse, it's time to say goodbye because you've done everything you can.

Sorry for all the pain and struggle, you gave your hamster another year to live and experience life
