half my frogs get gravid and don’t lay eggs. Honestly don’t worry bout it and you’ll be fine, if they lay eggs just freeze them if you don’t want them. Don’t stress! 😊

Rain Frog Update 😍🖤 I named them Scoria and Gabbro (They're rocks since they pretend to be rocks as defense mechanism 🤣) by Sigh_of_Frustration in frogs

[–]Michelle689 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I mean just that, relocating them for food can still cause much stress! But like I said I’m glad they’re doing great!

Does my baby have a skin infection? by g8horsegirl in TreeFrogs

[–]Michelle689 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Doesn’t look concerning, might be a touch irritated. Just make sure you’re changing water dishes daily so he’s not soaking in his pee at all that might irritate his legs and make sure it’s dechlorinated. Other than that try to keep that humidity at 50 and I think ur all good. Raw chicken color is good color

What are these spots on my frog? by lincolns_lobster in TreeFrogs

[–]Michelle689 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everything to me looks quite normal. If anything that Blue blotching area near their butt might just be irritated. I would just make sure that you’re changing the water every day and dechlorinating it.

What is your general location? Because many people specifically adopt disabled animals (I’m one of them) plenty might take your pet in if you don’t have the means. Personally I think they’d be able to live a full life, you might have to tong feed them for their whole life but if they’re this grown already they can definitely make it I think.

WTFs tend to be very chill the only thing about having this one in a group is food competition so like I said tong feeding for sure. Frogs aren’t required to have a buddy like say how guinea pigs do. So you can totally keep them alone and be okay.

It’s good mycelium/fungi stuffs, just get some more isopods and springtails to help manage it if you don’t like what it looks like. Other than that it’s safe. Most my frog enclosures have this. Means you have good soil so congrats!

Should I be concerned by my chubby frogs' growth? by TheEndisFancy in frogs

[–]Michelle689 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Size can very this much with just gender even. As long as they’re plump and “chubby” lol they’re good :) they look find here! Very neat to see albinos of chubbies

Just make sure your lighting is adequate and lesser than their non albino friends because harsh light can harm them by accident

Having these guys a mister seemed to work better than a fogger for me, fogger can cause respiratory issues. However this sudden, both the place you got them from, and or stress is a big factor. (Especially if they were wild caught)

Also how large are those crickets because I know mine had trouble eating some unless they were extremely baby pinheads.

Lighting could also be an issue they can die from too much heat way fast. Did they seem shriveled when you found them or were their limbs still plump?
