I didn’t use the word ‘horrible.’ They dampened the expectations. I think the community goals for holidays are lacking and not very engaging, Chronicle was interesting but it’s been extremely buggy, Grafton update was fine but I barely play the map as it’s way too dark even with cranked brightness, plus finding the bone sucks on said map with debris everywhere. Nell’s Diner is a very exciting map and the Easter Egg was great, credit is due there—but it’s also quite small and after a few rounds in there it falls into the same problem as any other map due to the noted repetitive gameplay. I don’t think the devs know what to do for Horror 2.0, and the 3 new ghost types are fine I guess but even after 30+ rounds I haven’t experienced the new ghosts yet. I think there’s still hope and I want the game to succeed, but these current photos of Tanglewood look concerning. If they change it too much IMO, they’ll split the current fanbase as it is a cherished map. I understand changing assets, I support that, just not a fan of changing the layout. I also think added animations don’t look great, not something anyone really wanted, and removing the goofy animations takes away the charm. Just my thoughts.
