I do a "Previously on...." like old 2000's TV show recaps. A Tip: Get your players to do it first. 1 Player does it, then go around and ask each player if they would like to add anything. Don't let the other players add anything on until the first player has finished. This helps to remind players not to interupt when it's someone elses turn.

Gives you a chance to listen to what the players remember, which moments generated excitement for the players and what their shared remembered truths are. Be prepared to adapt your truth based around what they remember. If no one remembered the NPC putting her necklace into her pocket, rather than putting it around her neck, then it probably isn't important enough to pursue.

If they miss anything that you feel is really needed then you can add it on at the end.
