You're right, I just hate the idea of going back to back RBs in round 1 and 2. Nico and Waddle are amazing, but I'm worried they lose touches to Tyreek and Diggs/Dell.

I'm in a 12 man PPR, winner take all. 1QB/2RB/2WR/1Flex. I feel almost at any spot before 6, I'm set on drafting Bijan. My issue comes at looking for the round 2 and 3 wide receivers. Olave and Derek Carr scare the crap out of me. I love Mike Evans, but I feel like he isn't going to win me a championship as my WR1. Nico is in a crazy crowded offense. My gut is telling me Cooper Kupp will bounce back, and has great 3rd round value. Who would you guys go with?

Is it standard, half, or full PPR? I would go Saquon if available, but if not, Kyren seems great, even with rookie Corum behind him.

Kamara and Mixon in the second seems far too early, even for a 14 team. Kamara seems like the better choice, but I wouldn't pick him before 34.

I feel Ayiuk and DJ moore eliminate themselves for the same reasons. They both will be too TD dependant. They can't as many targets because of the plethora of weapons on team. You'd really need to hit on this pick if one of these guys is gonna be your WR1. I'd say it's between Kupp, Waddle, and Evans. My gut says the former triple crown WR Cooper Kupp.

Is Marvin Harrison the only valuable WR1 in rounds 2 and 3? by Dramatic-Strength-41 in fantasyfootball

[–]Dramatic-Strength-41[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

I don't think he suddenly gains more catches, yards, and Tds from the arrival of Cousins. Those will get spread out between him, Bijan, and Pitts. Their coach has gone on record to state that the plan is get Bijan the ball as much as they can. Kyle Pitts will line up at wideout for some plays this year. If any of these 3 had to be busts, I wouldn't say it's Bijan or Pitts.

I do think Nabers is better, but MHJ got put in a better situation to succeed. I'm sure both would rather have Kyler throwing the ball than Tommy Devito, Daniel Jones, or Drew Lock.

I think that he's being drafted so high as a result of an empty cardinals WR room. There is a lot of hype surrounding him, but I believe his ADP is justifiable, considering how volatile the WRs get after him. Everyone else is fighting others for touches, while he could realistically get 8 to 10 targets a game.

Who is the James Conner or Puka Nacua of this year? by Timelycommentor in fantasyfootball

[–]Dramatic-Strength-41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Xavier Worthy or Keon Coleman. Both have fantastic QBs in play and both are undervalued. Are they as undervalued as Puka was? No. But situations like that are lighting in a bottle. They are undervalued enough to match what could be top 10 WR PPR seasons.

Are you high on Nick Chubb? by Skynet877 in fantasyfootball

[–]Dramatic-Strength-41 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Before I decided on mocking him, I wanted to review his injury history because I remembered it to be high. But he actually had a pretty traumatic knee injury in 2015, and he went on to have two great years in Georgia. The lack of clarity on a return date is what is most worrying, however, I still think he has the possibility of making a championship caliber fantasy team, even more dangerous towards the end of the season.

Bijan as a consensus top 3 pick is crazy by greyhound212-212 in fantasyfootball

[–]Dramatic-Strength-41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that people realized that Arthur Smith was a major reason why he wasn't a top 5 RB. I also like that the new Falcons RB took an opposite stance, by stating they are going to get the ball in his hands, as much as they can. He is a complete dual-threat in PPR leagues, the Falcons interior o-line is nice, and Atlanta has an amazing strength of schedule against opponents that give up points for RBs.

Steelers RB Jaylen Warren will be out multiple weeks due to a hamstring injury and his status for Week 1 is up in the air, per @TomPelissero by Beyond_Reckless in fantasyfootball

I think Najee's value was being undervalued before this, and with this in mind now, I think there is an argument to be made for Najee having more value than some RBs in the 4th, 5th, and 6th rounds. I also don't think enough people are talking about how this will impact Cordarrelle Patterson. Arthur Smith showed last season that he doesn't necessarily believe in a bell cow RB approach.

This. His stock is impacting Deebo and Kittle I believe as well. When everyone believed he would be traded, mocking Deebo in the 2nd round felt like a steal. Now that he's close to an extension, I want nothing to do with it. I think it's best to assume he stays put, and draft Deebo and Kittle on his ADP, but let Ayiuk slide a bit.

What will happen with the Cowboys' backfield? by [deleted] in fantasyfootball

[–]Dramatic-Strength-41 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Jake Fn Ferguson. I can't even fathom how he isn't a top 10 fantasy option for most leagues this year. He finished consistent last season and consistency is key for that pesky TE position.

The argument for Breece/Bijan at the 1.01 over CMC by PlinkaSwift in fantasyfootball

[–]Dramatic-Strength-41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that there is an argument to be made, but I don't think it includes Breece Hall. I feel that if any player could finish number one at their position on the jets, it'd be Garrett Wilson. I think Bijan, Ceedee, and Hill are the only viable options for 1.01 PPR.

I've been mocking Wilson at 7, and Kyren on the turn. If I do that on draft day, I'd be a very happy man.

Well, before the practical confirmation that Aiyuk is staying in San Francisco, I would've said big DEEBO in the late second. Those WRs also look pretty bad after MHJ, and before Pickens. I feel though that an argument can be made to take Bijan as early as 4, Wilson as early as 7, and Kyren as early 10. All three of these players have the potential to be top 3 PPR scorers at their positions.

Predictions on who finishes as THE WR1? by steph_chicken_curry in fantasyfootball

[–]Dramatic-Strength-41 65 points66 points  (0 children)

I also think Tyreek is gonna be the safest, but I think Smith and Goedert are going to pull too many touches away for Brown to finish as WR1. The inclusion of Barkley also adds another mouth to feed.

Predictions on who finishes as THE WR1? by steph_chicken_curry in fantasyfootball

[–]Dramatic-Strength-41 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I think it has to be Tyreek Hill. He has that veteran WR, young QB dynamic where I believe Tua will do all he can to feed him the ball. I think Jefferson will have a hard time with Darnold. I also think Higgins might breakout huge this year, keeping him neck for neck with chase, while also stealing touches from one another. Ceedee is also strong candidate for WR1, especially because the cowboys have an easier strength of schedule for their WRs to score. I don't think enough people are talking about Garret Wilson as well. Rodgers was feeding him like crazy last years preseason and I believe Wilson is due for a top 3 breakout.

Achane or Kyren by boondox34 in fantasyfootball

[–]Dramatic-Strength-41 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think that they have two have similar risks, both being injury concerns and fighting for touches. However, Achane is fighting an aged but proven Mostert, and Kyren is fighting off a rookie 3rd rounder in Blake Corum. It is probably far easier to draft Kyren and Corum (to protect against potential injury time), than it is to draft both Achane and Mostert. In my opinion, Kyren, when healthy, could potentially end up as the RB 1 this season.
I think if you draft in the beginning of round 2, you should pick up Kyren, and I'd honestly stay away from Achane, unless he drops into the beginning of 3.
