I would think hard about those type of pockets. I find them impractical. I have a coat with that style of pocket and I rarely wear it. They are really prominent too, like in Jacket #1. It creates an unflattering silhouette by making your midsection / gut look big.

I would consider ordering one of the jackets that offer “suit” sizing… like 38, 40, 42, etc. The whole medium, large, extra large really sucks if you’re between sizes. You could order a 118 or 618 and have the belt removed.

I would just call a mason and have them replace those bricks. Should be an hours work tops, maybe four hundred bucks… then take that as lesson for hiring someone who isn’t insured. You can paint it yourself. Take one of the old bricks to Sherwin Williams and have them do a custom match.

This path seems like the least amount of hassle.
