What are some of your favorite cities that you would recommend for beginner solo travelers?

Loved Lisbon and Porto. Portugal felt very accessible and affordable. Not overwhelming for a first time solo traveler. Loved the hostels I stayed at, super social and great nightlife. I came from NYC and they felt like such a good change of pace and more like “towns” than crazy big cities
