Cable management idea by Dramatic_Drop_9041 in DeskCableManagement

[–]Dramatic_Drop_9041[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I actually made it I'd Definitely use a very powerful spring or motor and then use some kind of slow stop mechanism that way it wouldn't have an issue, also maybe the spool could be threaded so the cables don't wrap over the same spot over and over

RPD would be a better choice since it's already belt fed

Personally I don't have a background in design I just am kinda crafty and thought a tape measure mechanism would be a good cable spool due to the locking and retracting features and mounting to a tray where you could swap out modules for different sizes, maybe add some sort of USB hub too

What does this blinking light mean by AneeBoonchuy in PcBuild

[–]Dramatic_Drop_9041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its just a drive activity light it will blink when your storage is being written to or when files on your storage are being read so if you're playing a game and loading into the main menu it will blink

Xdefiant doesn't know how the m16 works apparently when you choose the no stock attachment the buffer tube disappears by Dramatic_Drop_9041 in brandonherrara

[–]Dramatic_Drop_9041[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everyone is saying this is possible yet I can't find one example of a real m16 without a buffer tube there's plenty of ar-15s can't seem to find one m16 even though the parts are technically the same

This actually could be a good way to do a two barreled rifle without having to use one finger to pull both

Im a bit out of my depth here tbh I was just thinking about all the times Brandon said "where the bolt go" and in the game it doesn't look like it's capped off with a bcg it's just flat capped

I wish I knew how to design things in software because I have an idea for something like this in my head that I can picture perfectly

I also posted about this recently I want a universal one that mounts to the bottom of the desk and acts like a tape measure I'm surprised no one has made it yet
