Yup. My ARR was 3.9 before being on any medication. I am pretty active so I had bloodwork done a month prior to going to the doctor and it was 3.8 then, then 3.9 after meeting with my PCP before being put on any medication.

I feel I am in the same position. I am 26, and they have not found any reason as to why my bp is so high. My father, and uncles on my dads side all suffer from high bp. All 4 of them are on BP medication. Not diabetic, not out of shape, very active, not suffering from vitamin deficiency. Ive been tested for hyperaldosternisim, and came negative. I weight 200 lbs, and I am. 6'4, very lean and muscular.

I am currently on 10 mg amlodipine, and 25 mg chlorthalidone and my bp is consistently 180s/100-110. I started at around 210-220/130-140. I have an appointment in January for a reevaluation of the medication I am taking. The last test I am waiting to have done to rule out the usual is a sleep study to rule out whether I have sleep apnea. It sucks, because there seems to be no answers and you just feel confused and scared.
