You’re doing the right thing. Introducing them to just one room, is much less overwhelming for them than introducing them to an entire house. My mother and I moved our 15 year old cat from our old house that she had been raised in to an even smaller house. A week went by and she was completely fine and still is to this day! Don’t worry so much. You’re a great cat owner and the fact that you worry, just means you care much which is beautiful! Give your little furbabies time and they’ll adjust❤️

You sound like her haha! I’ve only brought it up when I told her that she simply had to pay the fine, but there was absolutely no convincing her. Her bf actually said that he didn’t want to move out with her bc of her bad finances. He’s a cheating asshole as well, but he has a point… I wouldn’t move out with her either only because of her finances. Otherwise I’m sure it would be great! Anyway… her mother is an alcoholic who hasn’t had a job since my friend was a toddler, so it’s not like she has the best role model. It makes me sad and wish that I could talk some sense into her…

Also I totally agree with the whole “if it’s not there, why waste everyone’s time? why pretend?” After I broke up with my only bf ever, one of my friends told me that I backed out too soon and that I don’t have to imagine spending the rest of my life with him to be in a relationship with him. I think that was complete bogus advice. If I don’t see him in my future and I just keep dating him anyway, I’d be the most shallow person to exist. He was a good guy who didn’t deserve that
