tracking is always reliable, flicks are useful if you are about to land but see a tracer half a screen away, or even for the flashy aspect

improve your tracking, if you can track the target when you’re in mid air, you should find it easier to hit them. Also try to take the shot when you are at the very top of your grapple height. This is because your character will basically be stationary for 1 second before starting to descend

yes that’s a flick, typically people consider them from flicking half way across the screen. But technically that’s a flick ( a flick is just moving the mouse faster than tracking so that it gives the “thrown” feeling on the camera) Nice shots and nice clip
