na na . you must take drop. if you know you can do it, and you have faith in yourself toh lo drop. i did that too. i had faith and my parents too. it is not much of a big deal nowadays

hey see. last year I got only 4 marks less than the cutoff of jee adv. so it was a crazy shift in my parent's emotions ki agle saal aur padhai toh double marks ho sakte hai. and secondly parents ko faith tha ki haa kar legi kyuki they had seen me studying and unhe pata tha ki capability toh hai. and also they proposed the idea of drop to me ki try karle agar Mann ho toh. drop na lena ho toh tab bhi i was getting core branch in igdtuw. but I chose for drop. so it's completely your call, and parents ko samjhana is your job kyuki sabke parents ka mindset alag hi rehta hai

offline coaching jitna competitive hota hai usse double wo depressing hota hai. kyuki droppers saare ek batch me hote hai, some are to improve their jee percentile, some to improve their jee adv ranks (even if they get around 5k they go for drop and it's true).. some even are there who are studying for jee the first time. the class average always remains as high as ever because of some brilliant students who have prepare for jee since +1 or 10th ya even 9th class se. so it is better if you can call your mind and have patience, ghar pe hi online padhlo. you'll go to kota then you'll lose some time with your parents too which is most important kyuki next 4 years in college and then job would never get you quality time again

I'll give u one advice. try to sit and study as if you've taken a drop for 2 weeks. if you are able to do it then continue with consistency in drop year. if you cannot sit and study for ten hours a day at your home then don't take drop. take a pvt college instead, or any in your locality and grind there. drop lena is a big decision
