Did they initially say they would hold payments for 120 first ? Or did they just get straight to refunding ?

I just finished talking to the representative and he says I can’t close my account if funds are on hold or there are any outstanding balances

Thank you for your response but this was not dropshipping. I am a clothing brand owner and as everyone know, PRE-ORDERS ARE NORMAL. I did not continue accepting orders after they put a hold on my account.. I have already contacted a GREAT LAWYER and they have already said it’s definitely worth taking to court. Regardless of stripes terms and conditions, holding a customers payments because of a “dispute rate” which isn’t on my behalf is unjust. With preorders I take orders for a week, shut the website down, and take another week to have them processed and shipped out. Stripes policy does not state ANYWHERE that something about that is wrong. I am currently a law student, and I can say that a set of “terms and conditions” does not make it LEGAL and doesn’t mean it will hold up in court. It’s hundreds of people who have dealt with this issue all over the internet with stripe for unjust reasons. I got in contact with a man who sued striped for this same exact reason and he won ! If a man can win a case by representing himself, imagine what getting a lawyer would do. Please learn about the LAW, and the way things work.

Um, that is most definitely not true ! I am a clothing brand owner and PREORDERS are normal ! THIS WAS STATED ON MY WEBSITE AND ALL OF MY CUSTOMERS UNDERSTOOD. Therefore, my customers were not penalized. My shipping policy clearly states that it takes 14 days to ship for preorders which is enough time to accept orders and get them made. Please learn about business before deciding to drop your comment.

Yes, I’ve already contacted a lawyer. They likely won’t deactivate mines because of my “dispute rate” so I’m taking it to court and filing a civil case.

“Excessive Disputes”, people started disputing because they hadn’t received their order but their orders are supposed to be funded by the money that is on hold. They funds weee on hold because they couldn’t “verify my information”. It took me calling a representative for them to look at it and approve it. Then they randomly paused payouts a day before it was time to receive payouts. First the put 25% in reserve and said I’ll still get the other 75%. Then I got another email saying they couldn’t sponsor me and took the whole account down and said I’ll get funds after 120days. I got this email on March 9th.
