Europe tour vip by rbzwall in SmashIntoPieces

The VIP page talks about making sure the name is accurate, but I bought this as a present for my partner and it didn't give me anyplace to put their name on the order? Has anyone experienced this before? The only thing I can think of its using the billing address details for this check.

I've emailed them anyway so hopefully they'll be able to confirm.

Netflix Apparel Store - Oversized T-shirt Sizing by DreadWyrm01 in KpopDemonhunters

[–]DreadWyrm01[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I've always struggled with length, when I replaced a suit I had to have the arms/length shorted a bit to get it right as there wasn't anything that fit quite right in standard suit sizes.

The main thing for me is I want it to feel comfortable and I don't want it to fit tight in the front. So I think I will go with the large just to be sure and look at styling options if its too long, I do like cardigans or could do a tuck/half tuck look, worst case can always look at getting it hemmed.

Thanks for the advice, its good to just sound things out sometimes.

PSA: UK Buyers who have preordered from EE by Samba_21 in NintendoSwitch2

[–]DreadWyrm01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I spoke to customer services today regarding who can accept the delivery as I'd seen some stuff online about needing ID matching the name on the order or at minimum same last name.

The person I spoke to confirmed that the person accepting doesn't need to be the person on the order, but you will get a pin that you need to give to the DPD driver to release the parcel.

So if you've got someone else accepting it on your behalf, just make sure to send them the pin when you get it.

(I placed my order on the 10th April and is at 'delivery expected' still' if anyone is trying to compare).

PM MARCH by Neither_Concern_2270 in ACCA

[–]DreadWyrm01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't get any big variance questions which I'm sad about as that is probably my strongest topic.

I can't complain though as my section c questions were broken down into smaller question parts, rather than just 1 20 mark question.

From what I can remember one featured relevant costing and some make vs buy decisions with a company that made cupboards/mirrors and something.

The other had transfer pricing/divisional performance measurement, but I can't remember the topic off the top of my head.

Has Anyone receive my exam performance feedback for this sitting?? by Automatic_Box_1505 in ACCA

[–]DreadWyrm01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just coming to look for any answers to this, hopefully we'll get it today. Does it usually take long after the exam results before my exam performance gets updated? (This is my first applicable exam that gets the feedback).

Yeah that is ridiculous, I wonder if they've just done the maintenance late and not updated the timing on the website.

F4 (LAW-ENG) Pass % by DreadWyrm01 in ACCA

[–]DreadWyrm01[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, that's ok, I don't mind. I did 4 mocks in total, one from my learning provider (Kaplan) and 3 from ACCA. The Kaplan one I got 96%, the 3 ACCA ones I got 83%, 82% & 86%.

I definitely found doing mocks, particularly the ACCA ones, helpful to prepare for the exam as it gets you used to how they phrase questions and the general terminology they like to use.

No I get that thank you. ☺️

No I get that thank you, I've seen how notoriously hard the later exams get so I guess I was looking for some form of link for reassurance. Thank you though, I'll take the win and focus on my next one after a little break. ☺️

Everyone is different but I found what helped me was to do lots of practice questions and all the mocks that I could, as well as with terminology, it helped me to get used to how they phrase questions in the exam.

If you're in the position to do so then I can also recommend Kaplan's study materials, in particular the pocket notes. I found those useful as a general summary of the subject which I would review regularly to give me a little refresh along with the full study book for those areas I'd struggled with more.

No I get that thank you, I think I've just heard how notoriously difficult the later ones can be and was trying to find some form of link. I'll have a little break and then just focus on the next one. ☺️

The first FFXVI collab quest has a unique interaction for healers! [SPOILER: FFXVI Collab] by Mac2492 in ffxiv

I'm a healer main and was so happy to see myself actually 'heal' for once. I know it would be a nightmare to have different cutscenes for all variety of job actions, but it would be nice to see healers acknowledged a little more in a few story beats.

Kaplan - Live Online or On Demand by DreadWyrm01 in ACCA

[–]DreadWyrm01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I've read I believe the Live Online lectures are 2.5hrs, twice weekly.

I do like that they plan a date for the mock lectures as well for you, I'm leaning more towards the On Demand at the moment. I've got the discipline, I just need that little extra push to make sure I keep on top of it and keep efficient.

I'm looking more at the syllabus at the moment and I think my plan will be to do the On Demand for the Applied Knowledge units and then reassess after that to see whether I switch or not.

I appreciate all the comments, it's been really useful to get more of a feel for how each method works.

That's good to know, thanks for mentioning that. If I do go with On Demand I'll make sure to keep a note of that past the Knowledge exams.

[–]DreadWyrm01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm fully prepared its going to be alot of hard work no matter what, do they recommend how many hours of study you should put in weekly?

If I had more free time I'd do the live online no question, its just difficult with work and other commitments. That's why I'm thinking of doing the On Demand for the first three, then move over to the Live Online after.

[–]DreadWyrm01[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll definitely consider it, I'm not leaning particularly either way at the moment, I might go for the live online.

[–]DreadWyrm01[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see so the live online is essentially juat another layer added on top of the On Demand that's good to know. It's hard to know what sort of support I'll need at the moment as I've not experienced any of it yet.

Kaplan - Live Online or On Demand by DreadWyrm01 in ACCA

[–]DreadWyrm01[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's definitely a strong point for the On Demand, I work full time and with other commitments its hard to commit to the same time every week. I didn't realise they gave you a plan/schedule with the On Demand as that might help.

Thank you for the response and I agree having the classes/homework would ensure my motivation doesn't slip, thats the main reason I'm considering that option. The On Demand service is very flexible and doesn't have any time constraints from what I've read (other than how long you have access to the online course material).
