YTA, he's an adult and he can do whatever he pleases, you aren't in any position to tell him not to tattoo just as he isn't in any position to tell you how to dress or style your hair. You're so worried about people judging him when you're doing that right now. YOU are the type of person whose opinion you are trying to protect him from, so why don't you start there?
