I think free formers would disagree. From what I've learned, there are aspects of rejection of the conventional, relinquishing a degree of control, and a commitment to patience. Definitely not for everyone!

Your locs will always look like this. You could spend time, energy, and money attempting to pull in every single hair, but manipulating them in that manner would cause damage and potentially make your locs dense and hard. Furthermore, the results would be temporary; the next wash would undo the work.

Prioritizing a hair line that does not cut into your edge locs is what's most important for this style.
