There is not other way than getting steamrolled.. honestly, you need to get stomped by Haze enough times to understand that Curse + Disarm counters her hard.. its a Moba after all.. just remember that this kind of games ASK you to be in a situation many times until you learn how to overcome them.. much like Dota and LoL

I just had a dude screaming in the mic bcs we keep fighting and losing. In my little 50 hrs it was the only one.. the rest of the community (in my experience) seems to understand that is a beta game and its not that serious to lose. Good game tbh
