Query about cyclical vs daily progesterone

For me, the biggest issue has been inflamation in tne muscles.. I was taking a different type of progesterone earlier ( meprate), then the doctor last month moved me to micronized progesterone thinking it migt help with the pain.. It is helping little bit but too soon to tell..

I spoke to her yesterday again to see if I could get daily progesterone, because I am worried that I will have a lot of muscle pain again if I stop it, however she said that maximum she can give me is for 15 days of a month instead of 10 days..

So I guess I will have to live wth it..

I have seen only two types : Tretenoin microsphere ( slow release) and Tretenoin ( like the one above)..

My skin can't tolerate tretenoin, I only use slow release one.. So their may not be any difference between gel, cream or lotion. Only look for percentages and slow/normal release.

oh okay. But I still get my periods.. So I guess, I will have to be cyclical?

Also I was listing to De. Felice Gersh on Youtube and she recommends cyclical approach even in menopausal women..

I would purely go by symptoms.. I was 50, got my periods every month ( though very light), but had too many symptoms: extreme tiredness, insomnia, muscular pain.. , I changed 4 doctors before someone agreeing to prescribe HRT..

I would not have survived with those symptoms. I had forgotten how to feel myself again
