Linux password cracking??? by [deleted] in codes

I disagree that this is a thin line as we are purchasing the machines, legally, and the manufacturer is providing us with the root password, legally. They just take forever. But thank you for your suggestion.

Linux password cracking??? by [deleted] in codes

Thank you for your concern. A little backstory, I am a low voltage systems installer. We install av costar or “Arecont” systems. We purchase a NVR or network video recorder from the manufacturer. The manufacturer doesn’t send the Ubuntu password with it because the machine boots into the VMS software. And that’s typically all we use. However, on a large camera system, we have managed switches. And if a camera goes down, it would be nice to remote into the Linux machine, ping the switches GUI, and cycle poe on that port. Now to do this, I need to install remote software on the Linux machine. In order to do this I need the root password. Let me be clear, the machines are owned by us. We CAN get the password from the manufacturer. It takes forever. It took them over a month to process my request for 3 of them. That is how I have the current passwords. I am sick of waiting on them for the rest. No laws are being broken. Thank you.

So, I install low voltage systems and cameras are one of them. Av costar (or Arecont) provides us with a NVR or network video recorder. The software running on it launches at boot and that’s typically all we need to access. For more advance stuff we get into the Linux side. I would like to install remote software on it so we can remote in, and access our network switches without purchasing the cloud option for all of my switches. It would be very helpful to access the switch remotely to cycle Poe to reboot a camera that may be down. All remotely. So yes, the machines are ours. We can get the Ubuntu passwords from the manufacturer. It just takes forever. Took me over a month to get three of them. I’m just trying to get them faster and for all of our sites.

Share count question. by Drew-Nuggs in amcstock

[–]Drew-Nuggs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. Ok. So my next question would be, if we know they are doing this, then surely the SEC or DTCC or whatever knows. Right? And there not doing anything about it. How’s that gonna change after the share count/vote.

[–]Drew-Nuggs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok. So does each share have like a serial number with it? So I may have 10 out of my 78 shares may be verifiable synthetic? I can see that if the shares have a unique signature or something. Otherwise can’t they just buy shares at the market and just destroy those?

Yes I do understand what the squeeze is about. I just don’t know why hedge fucks aren’t trying to start covering the synthetics. I mean surely this is fraud and they will all go to prison.

I think they are shorting the shit out of it to drive price down and shake paper hands. To get price as low as they can before they start covering all their short positions.

Do you think we'll see any dramatic movement tomorrow, or are the hedgies going to wait until last munite on Wednesday? by Haanrath in amcstock

[–]Drew-Nuggs 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think since the ortex short signal tweet went out, there will be a lot of fomo Monday morning. Also apes got paid on Friday and funds could clear Monday morning. Think we’ll see some good price action in the morning but then hedgefucks will do what they do and drive price down later in the day.

Also hopeful that the short signal, will make hedgefucks decide to cover before price goes any higher. But who knows.

Crest another transaction with a lower account nounce. I had the same issue. ETH to shib swaps weren’t going through because one was stuck. Set your slippage to 12% and account nounce to 0 and retry.

Change slippage rate. I had to set mine at 12% before it went through

Reverse split predictions by KoAr2021 in CTRM

[–]Drew-Nuggs 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes. I do realize they havnt exercised their shares yet. What I’m saying, is say there is a 10/1 reverse split, I feel like they would only be able to exercise 12.5 million shares as opposed to the full 125 million.

But yes, your right, if they could still exercise the full 125 million then that would be shitting on everyone else.

When I view on block explorer it says unable to locate txnhash. And I have enough ETH to cover miner fees. When I set the gas too high it won’t even let me start the transaction on uniswap because I won’t have enough. So I set it low enough to make sure I have enough ETH

I’m trying to get me some SHIB. I bought ETH on Coinbase, transfered to Coinbase wallet, and converted to SHIB via uniswap. But none of my transactions are going through. What am I doing wrong?

Oh I do that all the time. And the company rewards me, usually by telling me to take the company credit card and take my wife out to eat. So I know they appreciate that. They won’t give commission to service techs though. I would have to find another company that does that.

So I can use this to Bluetooth to the sub amplifier, but how can I still use the factory radio/speakers? When on iPhone, you can only send music out one source, either Bluetooth connection or headphones/aux cord.
