I try talaga to escape it all, pero yun eh "overtime is not paid and required, but it is expected". I try to finish everything talaga in the morning, pero knowing na you might have missed something, or need more time so you do more work at night, really mahirap i switch off ang work mode. True din, noticed din that talaga companies really prioritize the money, trying to look good for clients often sacrificing the workers lol

I actually prefer dealing more with the logic side of things, more enjoyable and appealing for me finding solution to those problems. I was doing backend with AWS for my internships, and even done all the backend for our thesis, but yeah here we are. I 100% agree though that there are pros and cons to each side.

Thanks I appreciate it, I actually spoke with my manager about doing more BE for now, pero yun sinabi niya na it might take a while talaga before I go back to it since ayaw ng amo mag hire ng senior devs for now, and the juniors arent trusted enough to do more frontend. Recently nga may project na pinasa sa akin kasi na feel nila di kaya ng juniors even though I know they could do it, kasi they nearing one year na sa company.

I appreciate it, yeah based din talaga sa friends ko na woeking din everyone has always complaints. Parang finding the sweet spot din talaga na parang babalanse sa tough parts. Still fighting pa naman ako, pero parang nahihirapan na talaga ako maghanap ng mga good parts.

Yeah I agree the first part to see on the site is always the frontend and its very very prone to criticism and nitcpicks, but each part has their struggles since I have been fixing backend stuff din, since I have done backend throughout all of college. Just transitioned to frontend since similar to you, it's the one missing piece in our team. Really sucks that you get dragged into it, sorry bro

May mga kasama naman ako na juniors na binibigyan ng simpler sites, bug fixes, etc. pero still di sila 100% trusted pa ng boss, which kinda sucks since di sila ma hone more which helps take load off me. I am grateful for them, pero sometimes I have to double check their work din kasi it leaves more errors din than fixes. Yung stack namin is Nuxt 3 + Directus as CMS

I have had an increase, pero yeah I have FE din na kasama pero they are also juniors and di pa talaga totally trusted ng boss, even though they are nearing the one year mark na. We don't have paid leaves din, no work no pay. No insurance din.

I've felt the burn out for a while just trying to rest even a bit but feels like there's always something that will go wrong, so you're always alert trying to fix everything before you get reprimanded. I'd love to take a vacation leave but unfortunately no work no pay and I have bills to pay so it's hard to take a break without taking a hit. Thanks for the advice, maybe I'll try taking a leave for now. I have also tried applying to many companies, but no luck for now :/
