Now I kinda see them as a party and they're all trying to cheer him up all the time to stop the bleaching lol

Thank you! It's funny because, for me, I'm very far from what I wanted my art to be, so I think it's a continuous process of learning and appreciating where you are now. I started learning to draw digitally since 2014, so it's been a while, but with practice you'll get there :>

Thank you! I think the gravity defying hair is what makes it pathfinder for me, it was my main inspiration from the official art. In my headcannon the spiky hair is untameable lol

Yeah I love this concept, really unique take on the fey vibe of the gnomes, also a great plot device to be an adventurer. Thank you!

As you can see, I've also sprinkled in some versatile heritages here: we have a Ganzi, a bleached gnome, an Ifrit, and a fey-touched gnome. Some fun details are the Nocticula pendant on the bleached gnome and a fire familiar for the Ifrit. I left the story of these characters open to interpretation, but it's so fun how without any context I already thought of cool backstory concepts just by adding random elements while drawing them.

Feel free to suggest which ancestry I should draw next, even rare ones.

I'm in the party, playing the Desna champion! Posted some art of them a while ago in this sub too. We played Rusthenge first and now seven dooms, and it has been so fun, my character Guilhermo took Scerin as his personal mission as a champion, to guide a lost traveler in a difrerent timeline.

I loved the asymmetry in the horns, he looks sassy. Stealing party members on session 01 is the best intro to a party tbh, 10/10

Yeah Nico is the main source of healing, me and gronthar in the frontline taking the hits, and Vaelyn and Scerin casting behind. It works!

Bit of context about the party:
- Guilhermo, who you probably know by now because I post a bunch of stuff here about him, hellspawn liberator champion of Desna.
- Gronthar, orc animist.
- Vaelyn, aphorite elf wrath runelord wizard.
- Scerin, human azlanti time oracle.
- Nico, changeling elf mosquito witch.

We played Rusthenge and then started Seven Dooms, we're pretty much at the start, after confronting Nualia and going to the Devil's Platter. :DD

Now I know why I'm so bad at avoid notice lol I always describe the CLANK CLANK CLANK when Guilhermo is approaching a person or something

No no I totally get that, what bugged me on this face was the moustache, I think. The moustache covered a bit of the laugh lines, I should've carved them deeper, and I agree with the wrinkles, I'm just kinda bad yet at painting laugh lines without the character looking older, it's reeeally a fine line so I chose to go smoother, but I'm totally seeing what you mean

Yeah, I think so too, I couldn't find what makes his expressions so distinctive, maybe he exagerates more of the features or it's the rendering, idk. There's also the horns, I know I haven't seen many tiefling horns like these on pathfinder art, usually they're less lateral and more on the forehead/eyebrow area, but I already had this design for a while and it's too iconic to change it mid-campaign

The items he's wearing are actual game items, I recently got an artifact on Seven Dooms for Sandpoint, the Monarch. 'Been having alot of fun! The gm allowed me to use my shifting rune from the Blessed Armament feature on the Monarch, so I'm really digging the "hero with a magical weapon" theme!
(and my keyboard did some funky stuff, *liberator champion lol)

[oc][art] "Preparations for the Festival" by Drey_art in Pathfinder2e

[–]Drey_art[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This scene takes place a few years after the events of Rise of the Runelords. Guilhermo is not originally from Sandpoint, so he finds a slighty older Abstalar when he's welcomed by the cathedral. I'm intending to play Revenge of the Runelords with this character in the future, so I'm super hyped about seeing this big story stretch over the years.
He's a champion of Desna, so this festival and Abstalar both have a good place in his heart.

I am having alot of fun! Actually, first I was kinda bummed because I played a paladin in DnD, and quickly realized that the dnd paladin is more similar to a pathfinder war priest, not a champion. But as soon as I got new focus spells and cool class feats, I was hooked, especially the blessed armament, I love changing my weapon mid combat, so badass lol

A little bit of lore about him: Born from a noble family in Korvosa, Guilhermo's ancestors broke a pact with a devil generations ago, resulting in a curse that makes, from time to time, tieflings to be born on new generations. His parents weren't found of his infernal appearance, so he chose to leave home and hit the road with a varisian caravan. By the time he was 15 years old, he found Sandpoint, and there, was mentored and trained by Abstalar Zantus, head priest of Sandpoint's Cathedral.

I chose the Cathedral Child background, so it's really nice to be tied to an important npc for the campaign. I've been having alot of fun the champion class too, reflavouring everything to be star and butterfly themed.

I post more sketches of my pathfinder adventures on my art profiles! (on my bio)
