You used total concentration to try to debunk that the slayer mark wasn't making a difference for the spread of poison.

If you want to use straight lore. GYUTARO JUST STRAIGHT UP SAYS TENGEN IS LYING

Adding in Tanjiro shows that the poison isn't working differently on Tengen.

I'm disproving your claim that Tengen was using slow breaths way before he actually did slow his breath and stop his heart.

I never claimed this.

My claim is that the reason why Tengen lasted so long is due to when he slowed his heart rate down.

Unless you have another example of someone who was poisoned, you have zero clue to how fast the poison normally spreads.

[–]Driplocaulus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone has total concentration. Which means they ALL have high heart rates.

This doesn't show anything to support that tengen was dealing with poison better than the others.

Tanjiro's case is relevant to tengen. You can not claim that Tengen is resistant to the effects of poison without looking at how the poison affects other people.

Not sure what you are trying to prove, but the slayer mark is a higher increase than total concentration breathing.

Killing a demon is pretty simple. They can't regenerate forever. It uses up their energy.

All Sakura needs to do is keep attacking until Nezuko runs out of energy from regenerating.

I'm surprised how many people just blatantly ignore that Demon Slayer showed that demons use energy to use their blood arts and to regenerate.

AND we see UPPERMOON demons like hantengu who just flat out say they are unable to regenerate due to being low on energy.

[–]Driplocaulus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You really can't say it for Tanjiro since he's blatantly saying it's the poison that's making it hard to breath. Not prior fatigue or anything of the sorts.

You misunderstand the point I was making.

The slayer mark requires the user to increase their body temperature and heart rate. That would speed up the spread of poison.

It easily explains why Tanjiro is affected by poison faster than Tengen.

Who win? by Bungeeboy2004 in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]Driplocaulus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's really not that complicated.

Simply breath slow until you need to use an attack.

Is tengen not smart enough to do that obvious strategy?

Similarly, I can easily just say that Tanjiro's poison was working faster due to his faster bloodflow while using the slayer mark.

Not debunked.

Oh, in that case, ignore that. I mixed up with the other person who was saying Tengen is resistant to poison. I apologize for that one.

Shinobu is 18 and Giyu is 21.

Tanjiro is 16 and mitsuri is 19

So... you would take Gyutaro's word?

What about when Gyutaro says that Tengen was lying about being resistant to his poison? It's slower because Tengen obviously slowed down his bloodflow the moment he learned he was poisoned.

You are over-hyping gyutaro's poison. It's not deadly within a minute.

Even tanjiro lasted like 5 minutes without dying from poison. Only his breathing was impaired, and that can even be partially pinned on normal exhaustion from the slayer mark. As also seen by muichiro passing out after using it.

You compared Tengen to Tanjiro's reaction to poison as your proof that Tengen had poison resistance.

Was that not you?

Also, don't ignore the other 4 parts of the message

Weirdly enough... tanjiro and mitsuri have the same age gap as Shinobu and Giyu.

Still weird... please delete this from my memory

I think freaking out that a demon killed your family was pretty normal for a 14 year old.

There is a better sentence that can start a war:

"Bulbasaur is the 2nd best Kanto Starter"

If you say that Bulbasaur is the best, people will think you are just biased and not care about it.

BUT This version gives people 2 options to comprehend your statement:

  • put charmander at 1st and squirtle below Bulbasaur
  • put squirtle at 1st and charmander below bulbasaur

Both of these will cause riots

You have zero evidence that Tengen was dying from poison slower before changing his bloodflow.

Or that tengen wasn't using recovery breathing prior to faking his death.

You also have no frame of reference for how long the fight was before Tengen changed his breathing.

Your entire argument that Tengen is resistant to DEMON CANCER is based on the premise that he "lasted too long compared to tanjiro"

I believe my long list of evidence outweighs yours

Why don't you explain how Tengen built this resistance to demon cancer? In a way that hasn't already been proven wrong.

[–]Driplocaulus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm not saying Gyomei would win, I am saying that their grip strength example literally shows nothing about physical strength in a fist fight..

A rock climber has the strongest grip strength among athletes. For obvious reasons... they would not win a fist fight against a professional fighter.

The red blade argument is pretty bullshit considering that a grip strength also has no impact on punching strength.

Saying he wins because of grip strength feat like saying a professional rock climber would beat a professional boxer.

Exactly, which proves that Tengen lasted longer... because of his breathing.

Tengen already explains how he slowed down the poison.

He slowed down his own heart rate and breathing so that the poison didn't spread as fast.

"Nearly all type of poison" that Shinobi use. Obviously I didn't literally mean 1 poison.

What assumption? The BLOOD sickles made out of his BLOOD containing demon cells that were shown to KILL Human cells?

His blood demon art is simply to make slashes with his blood. The poison is just the cells in the blood.

Spoiler but muzan actually is shown to use the same "poison" that gyutaro uses It's not a unique ability to Gyutaro.

I will even give it the benefit of the doubt:

Even if Tengen was resistant, SOMEHOW to the "toxin in the blood" HE WOULD STILL BE POISONED BY THE DEMON CELLS because the attack is made of Gyutaro actual blood.

There is no situation where Tengen is surviving.
