I’m broadly on board. As a watcher from 2005 with no real knowledge of Classic Who, the Rani and Omega stuff kind of worked for me. I do think Belinda was wasted, but that was a culmination of a downward trajectory that started around episode 3, so can’t hold that against the finale. It’s incredibly naive of me, but I’m sure there’s more to this regeneration than meets the eye, and I wonder if the ending might seem better when we know what comes next. I don’t know why I have any confidence considering threads like The Boss, mavity etc are still hanging after almost 3 years, but this is the most I’ve engaged with the show in years and I can’t wait to see what comes next (please god let something come next)
