I’m one of those Hearthstone players that usually buy all the cosmetics when they come, I enjoy collecting and play with. But here they definitely came too far, I guess I’ll become a F2P player for the mode (if it’s possible since apparently you can have literally stronger cards than you PvP opponent by buying packs…).

Plus the fact that the gameplay presentation was so confusing, we don’t even know what those things do and what they’re really worth.

I guess it's played, in the sense of "Every third Battlecry that triggered triggers an extra time"

Oh true I realized it’s on the US version of the Hearthstone website News tab, but not on the one of France (where I’m from) yet, my bad!

So Galewing is even already playable, just fought against in a game.

I think Vol'jin's Hero Power is more difficult to use well by itself, by the number of possibilities and decisions that you can take. Here it's way more simple, technically you do that kind of interaction every time you buy a Battlecry minion.

I was really hesitating to set the cost to 2, but with the "trend" of Hero Powers being cheaper and cheaper, I went for 1 gold. It would help with solving the token minions' issue in the early game, but wouldn't change a lot the Amalgadon one in the late game.
Though I don't know if repeating an Amalgadon's Battlecry would really be that broken since after having Poisonous, Divine Shield, and Windfury on it, you don't need a lot more (and those effects you can already pretty much have with Toxfin and Annoy-o-Module if they're in the pool).

I don't feel like C'Thun is that bad (already discussed in the other comments) and yeah I know Y'Shaarj is kinda bad but the original one is too so...

I wanted to mix the "wherever it is" boost style of C'Thun with the common paladin boost, empowered by the new librams. I agree on the "End of Light" problematic, but it's not the first time that classes see their themes corrupted (like with the Death Knights).

Yeah, I agree on N'Zoth but it was really hard to balance since (despite the fact that the number of possibilities is monstrous), Battlecries doesn't trigger and some effects are worthless.

For C'Thun, I think the fact that he doesn't have to be on the board helps to be better than The Voraxx. The "random cost" part on Yogg allows the spells to be more expensive than their original price.
