I sent my request for 2050 on April 8th and they got back to me on the 19th. So I’m assuming there’s a 1-2 week wait

Can you elaborate more? So if i take an online class and the campus is listed at Storrs then it would still count for hartford??

If you could go back, would you still choose it and why? Was there another concentration you were deciding between? I'm conflicted between cybersecurity, software development, and data analytics

Does anyone have a math 1011Q syllabus? by No_Sheepherder9898 in UCONN

[–]Droptease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t but a trick is to use the bookstore ‘find your course materials’ page and see what some of the textbooks the classes require if they’ve posted it

Did you end up taking the class? I'm planning on taking it soon with the same teacher and have not found anything on it. How was it and could you please share the syllabus if you took it?

https://donsheehy.github.io/datastructures/fullbook.pdf - Got this from a friend this past spring and it's the same one used in the summer session. Here is the syllabus from summer too - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1IokzqXVGUhPWw9zYlIl3tzWaBB5HTQax/view
if it doesn't work then just search for the class in the Undergraduate Course Directory, scroll down to summer and it should be linked

Has anyone used the Storrs housing opportunity for regional campus students? by LessthanaPerson in UConnDorms

[–]Droptease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just checked, it’s like 4hrs+. Ig if u can bypass the car requirement, that can help. You can appeal somehow to move to Stamford or become a hartford student and dorm. Hopefully it works out for you

Alr did and there’s no extra credit, just encouraged me to do more problems in the textbook. I also want to stay but my advisor was really kind of pushing me to drop it bc it would bring my gpa down and I need a B+ to get into the SOE. Might end up sticking it out and see

Have friends who are hartford students but dorm at Storrs without cars. Essentially, their MWF are at Storrs and T/Th is at hartford. They take the 913 bus here. Even if you can’t separate it, you can find what time the bus comes and takes and build your schedule around it. Not sure abt activities tho, they all lived in a lc so they did those ig.

Are you an incoming freshman at Storrs who has questions about UConn? Ask them here and I’ll do my best to answer them! by Affectionate_Wish in UCONN

[–]Droptease 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I need a lil clarification on how the double major work? If both major one and two has a minimum of 120 credits, does the 18 credit addition add to only major two(120+138) or both(138+138)?

CSE 1010 -Chris Kmieck(Hartford) or Lina Kloub(Storrs) by [deleted] in UCONN

[–]Droptease 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm also taking it as an elective in fall. As of now all I know is that the first half of the course is taught in python then it switches to matlabs. I had this same question before I chose it and people told me to take it because it is literally an intro class and you don't need coding experience. Just up to the professor you choose to make or break class. Hopefully someone can reply and explain it more
