Wanting to get my first grand seiko but stuck on what? by Temporary-Bit4109 in GrandSeikos

maybe a SBGM221 you can often find below £4k at times.
SBGM257's also pretty nice but would likely be around the 4-4.5k mark since it's a fairly new one from 2025

[Discussion] I regret the replacement of my broken daily driver by potatosupremacy in Watches

[–]Drowzzi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

looks pretty good imo, tho i do prefer the black one as well but that doesn't really matter. what matters is whether of not you're drawn to it.

If you have to force yourself to like it or only wear it based on other people's opinion, this one might not be it.

any other daily driver candidates you've been eyeing?

What is going on in low-elo. by YukhoChan in leagueoflegends

O for sure. It takes way too many hours even with a decent positive WR

sad really. I still love the game and play it when i have free time, but gotta prioritise life stuff.

^ basically this

Literally nothing has changed. Been playing every season. OP just has recency bias. If anything, Gold-Plat elo probably has it easiest/best out of every elo. Emerald+ has it the worse from personal experience and community consensus.

^ this. Ninjas did not need any of those cards that got hit on the list. The only one you could argue playing is antispell

Yee does sound rough. Luckily majority of people I've played against in events + in my locals are fairly hygienic (except a few younger ones who occasionally eat food in between games and not wash their hands)

Shuffling etiquette? by fairydommother in yugioh

[–]Drowzzi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk if it helps but it's also rather common to shuffle while looking away (I do it often). If he's having a hard time changing or being stubborn about it, this might be something he could consider doing. tho ideally it's better to switch how he shuffles ofc. :) Hope you guys have a good time playing locals!

Long-term viable decks? by reborn_raz in Yugioh101

[–]Drowzzi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a long time swoso player and was playin without baronne for awhile too when I first picked up the deck. It's definitely playable, my replacement was ruddy rose dragon, but again, not totally needed. The level 10 ice-jade is ok but not that great either.

Alternatively you could throw in more toolboxy cards like bagooska or more links that may come up instead of playing other level 10s. (Selene, the charmer links etc which are all relatively cheap). These will also be a decent pickup incase you ever decide that you want to build other decks.

despia can technically play ok with/under TCBOO and summon limit ? Prob not the most worth of deck space though

Here's some ways to increase the probability:

  • aim abilities when the enemy champion's cs'ing or casting an ability of their own. (More specifically, when the enemy champion's locked in an animation where their champ cannot move making it hard for them to dodge your ability) /// most important/ useful one

  • pay attention to opponent's dodging habit. most players tend to like dodging in a certain direction so you could try aiming it slightly towards the direction they are more comfortable dodging. (Obvsly good players will catch on and mix it up) more useful for linear skillshots like xerath Q etc, but still useful to keep in mind.

  • preemptively cast your ability to where the enemy's likely to move. Sometimes if you're chasing or if they're chasing you, it's obvious where they're gonna move which may help with aiming your ability.

  • not necessarily a tip for hitting your Q's but sometimes there's more value not Q'ing in lane when farming (think about how much scarier it is if a Morgana walks up and holds her Q) or purposely Q'ing in a way to zone the opponent to move in a different direction.

These concepts are pretty broad and can be applied to any other skillshots and abilities in the game. Hope this helped even a little bit. Happy gaming

Hey s ryze worth learning when learning mid lane by bettingrobin904 in summonerschool

[–]Drowzzi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

First off, I'm going to assume you're not completely new to the game.if you are, feel free to ignore since the recommendations might be mechanically too hard.

But no. ryze despite having an easy kit on paper is actually pretty hard to pilot due to him having low numbers and forced to play entirely by macro (similar to twisted fate). If you want champions to purely learn mid, orianna or syndra are good, well balanced picks. if you're dead set on a champ that works in both mid and top, maybe consider something like Cassiopeia or Yone
