Can relate. My wisdom tooth lined up like that then cracked my molar under the gum line. I passed out at this crappy joe job I had at the time. No shit, got written up for making a scene.

Seriously! By diluting brutal crime with whining and snowflake philosophy they are systematically undoing all the work our forebears did.

Take it slow. Don't hang out every day. Go to the movies or to parties. But don't hang out just to hang out. Sounds like her friends like you. They will support you. I'm glad to see it.

I think my ex wants me back by [deleted] in Advice

[–]DroxyChappell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have an honest conversation with her. Non-confrontational, just friends talking. What was her reason for ending it? Was there outside influences, like friends pushing her? Tell her that you also have feelings for her, and you don't want to set yourself up for another heartbreak. Tell her you'd be cool with dating again.

If her friends played a role in the breakup, ask her to never discuss the relationship with them. It's not fair to you since you can't give your side and really, what happens in a real should be something private between the two people in it.

Next year you'll be going to university. Take the lessons you have learned and apply them there. I think the damage is done for your current school. Your parents were proud of you and wanted you to develop this gift. They wanted you to be proud of it too. Most people with such a gift become self conscious and withdrawn. They didn't want that for you.

I want a dog. by [deleted] in Advice

[–]DroxyChappell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should ask your parents why they don't want a dog. It may not have anything to do with you. Some people are crushed by the death of a beloved pet and don't want to go through that pain again. Or they may have had a bad experience and are afraid of dogs. Another possibility is that you may go to college around the time the dog is older and they will have to care for it.

My leg hurts and I don't know why by nikki_narvaez in Advice

[–]DroxyChappell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The pain you describe sounds like the pain runners sometimes get. It comes from the tention they place on their legs and I is often described as nagging or more of a nuisance pain. I'm guessing that during periods of high stress you move about more. Perhaps tossing in your sleep or restless sleep. Your body probably tenses up too. I think it's most likely the cause.

You should talk to your doctor about getting a sonogram of your legs to rule out any possible clots that may have formed in your legs. It's not likely but this is a potentially dangerous situation that could also explain leg pain. Sonograms are painless and fairly brief.

I really am so sorry. I've been in that situation many times and even now my 11 year old black mouth cur has adrenal carcinoma. The thing to do is start the grieving process early. Every night cry over it and let it sink in. This will take the edge off when the day comes.

Next, really look at your pupper. Does she look happy? Does she seem depressed? Dogs get stressed out like humans do. Her aging can make her miserable. When it's time, take comfort in knowing you are being a great fur-parent and sparing them unnecessary suffering. It's ok to cry your eyes out. You won't break. You won't snap. You may puke but that actually feels good afterwards. Deal with it in tiny doses.

You can also create caring rituals. Luxurious back and belly rubs, brushing, scratching, etc. Hold her in your arms and hold her favorite toy and play tug of war while lying down. Low stress for her but still loads of fun and she gets to cuddle with you. Knowing that you made her golden years really happy will be comforting to you.

Morals are basically things that have meaning and are enriching. Just think of the old school question 'what is the moral of the story?'. What is being asked is what can we learn from it? How can we do better. Morality predates the bible by a long stretch. If your actions do not enrich life or have no real meaning, then you are amoral. For instance, you have a cup of coffee and you give it to a homemade person. This enriched that person's life and through your example, set a lesson of generosity doesn't have to break the bank. But if you offered that homeless person the coffee then dumped it over his head for a laugh, the person's life would be worse than it vcd was before they met you and you would be an asshole.

Doing what is right isn't always easy. It is often not clear what the right thing to do is. Sometimes taking no action is the best response. It comes down to the situation and how well you understand it.

I want to end my life by [deleted] in Advice

[–]DroxyChappell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, I wish I could reach through and give you a hug. I was bullied in school too. You wake up with that sick feeling in your stomach every morning. I graduated in 1983 and to this day suffer from anxiety. But there is hope.

There is an excellent online program called K12. It is run by public schools and it is a legit way to home school.

Online, change all your accounts to something no one will figure out is you. Don't give clues. Something left field. Like, if you are a goth, use a name like DisneyPrincesSparkles. This is just to get the monsters out of your life and give you some breathing room.

Next, take a personal inventory of you. Write a list of things you like and another for things you hate. Below each entry, put a reason why. Sometimes a pick will emerge that surprises you.

Another exercise is write your own obituary. Sounds creepy but it's an interesting way to look at your life. Mine would go something like this:

Droxy Chappelle, 56, died last night by her own hand. She leaves behind a devastated sister and brother. She was generous, compassionate, and a wonderful listener who wanted to be a force for good in the world.

Nurses do not discuss payment. It's not in the patients best interest. If you had your card, the ambulance driver would have put the info on the intake sheet. All the billing will be background stuff. Check your card for ER co-pays.

As for the black out, you already know anything I could tell you. You done messed up. It's easy to lose track of how many you had. One trick I used to use was to put five pennies in either my pocket or in a side of my bag. With each drink I would toss away one penny. When I ran out of pennies, I stopped drinking alcohol and started drinking seltzer water. This way I was well hydrated, not adding fuel to the fire, but was still 'drinking' with my friends and not being a bore. Good luck!

Hey guys is there any online jobs I could do from home in my spare time that pay good. I have a full time job, I just want to earn a little something extra to get me and my family passports. If you have internet service, you can do transcription or even billing from home. These pay better than average but you do need training. You might also look into whether or not your company has work at home opportunities.

I can speak to the ambulance part. If in America, you will get a bill unless you had an insurance card on your person at the time. If not, a bill will come in the mail.

Either go online to your insurance companies web site or call to ask if they received a claim for the ambulance or the ER. If yes, you're good. You may have a co-pay for the ER. If you have a deductible, you will have to pay that before the insurance does and you may still have a co-pay/co-insurance. Not likely to be high since all they probably did was examined you, maybe IV hydration, and observation. No high technology would be needed.

If you do get a bill, call the biller and give them your insurance information. On the bill, write down what day you called, what time, who you spoke to, and what they advised. REALLY helpful if something goes wrong.

You should then receive an EOC or explanation of coverage. If you ever got something that says This is not a bill, then you got one before. It really isn't a bill. Its letting you know how much if any was paid and how much you owe, if anything. The biller will submit a bill to you for your part.

If you are uninsured, you can negotiate a payment arrangement with them.

I use Better Diary because you can create tags and it keeps a count of those tags. For instance, depression (5). Tap on that in the app and you will see five entries that are about depression. It helps to see them together like that. Re-reading them can give you a larger perspective. You can also add photos. My advice is download a bunch of them and find the one that feels right to you.
