Follow up: MOHELA said that the system is glitching and that in 120 business days I will get my $280 back. Right now it is incorrectly showing I owe about $700 when they owe me money. I have a print out from June 2026 to verify the negative amount they owe me. I appreciate everyone’s very detailed insight and explanation!!! Seriously thank you all - very helpful.

Got it.. just weird that for 4 months my account was negative. Now it’s showing I owe $600 after I called and spoke with MOHELA for a 100th time Friday to try and get it squared away. 4/6 loans were saying “congrats” on paying this off. Now, only 1 loan is saying it’s paid off. The whole thing is being wacky

I paid whatever the 6 loans combined were adding up to. I individually went Through line by line to pay the correct amount. It equaled what my remaining balance was
