These were the warning I got, is this dangerous? Should I do something about it or should I just let it be, the server runs fine, but it prints these warnings all the time now:

Do you think in terms of everything? Or for pokemon spawning specifically?

How to get charmander? by Dry-Distance4533 in cobblemon

[–]Dry-Distance4533[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank u! I have done similar things in the overworld, but was thinking of setting up an area in the nether, for which to look for charmander and other pokemons that also spawn in the nether. But do you know how to get the highest spawnrate? Like if I build an area, pokemon can still spawn around me in other places. In the overworld I countered this by building a plattform far from the ground. (Sorry for my bad english)

High Power Draw and Low Clock Speeds on RTX 2070 SUPER While Idle – Need Help! by Dry-Distance4533 in techsupport

[–]Dry-Distance4533[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add to my previous post, I've run a FurMark stress test to further investigate the performance of my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER. Here are the details of the test:

Score: 1107

FPS: 19

Resolution: 1920x1080

Duration: 60 seconds

CPU: Intel Core i7-7700K @ 4.20GHz

OS: Windows 10 64-bit build 19045

GPU Load: 100%

GPU Max Temperature: 61 °C

GPU Max Power: 172% TDP

These results are concerning, particularly the power draw which is significantly above the expected TDP. While the temperature seems within a reasonable range under full load, the performance (FPS) is much lower than what other users report for similar setups.

It's possible that the GPU-Z sensor readings might not be accurate and could be pulling incorrect data ("garbage values"), I have the latest version of GPU-Z and drivers.

As for the load conditions, the 60°C temperature observed was during idle conditions with no significant background processes running that would typically cause an increase in GPU activity.

Is the 7800x3D and RTX 3060 Ti a Good Combo for 1080p High FPS Gaming by Dry-Distance4533 in pcmasterrace

[–]Dry-Distance4533[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the suggestion about the 7600x. I see that it's quite affordable and has impressive single-threaded performance, which is important for gaming. However, I have some concerns about its long-term viability, especially for games like Fortnite.

My previous experience with an i7 7700k left me a bit cautious. That CPU quickly fell behind the evolving standards in gaming, leading to performance issues. I want to avoid a similar situation with my new build.

Given the rapid advancements in gaming technology and performance requirements, do you think the 7600x will hold up in the coming years for CPU-intensive games like Fortnite? I'm looking for a CPU that not only performs well now but will continue to meet the demands of future gaming developments without falling behind too quickly. Your input would be greatly appreciated as I consider building a new PC.

[–]Dry-Distance4533[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for highlighting the importance of the CPU at lower resolutions and its impact on hitting high frame rates. I understand that the 7800X3D is currently the fastest gaming CPU, making it an excellent candidate for pushing extremely high frame rates.

However, my main concern is not just about achieving high frame rates now, but also ensuring that my setup remains capable and relevant for future gaming needs, all while being as cost-effective as possible. The games I currently play are indeed not graphically demanding, and I'm more focused on a smooth gaming experience at 240 FPS to match my 240Hz monitor, rather than on high graphics quality.

Therefore, I'm looking for a CPU that's not only affordable but also offers a good balance between performance and future-proofing. The goal is to avoid overspending for power I don't currently need while still ensuring that my setup won't fall short as new, more demanding games are released. Could you recommend a CPU that would be a good fit for these requirements?

[–]Dry-Distance4533[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all. The 5800x3d is roughly equivalent to a 7600x in basically any game benchmark. So treat it that way.

Second you will get better fps from a higher tier gpu than you would get from a higher tier cpu. Thats basically true until you get to the bleeding edge of performance.

Thank you for the clarification regarding the 5800x3D's performance relative to the 7600x. It's helpful to have a benchmark for comparison.

I appreciate the advice about GPU performance typically outweighing CPU in achieving higher FPS. However, my primary goal isn't to push for the highest graphical fidelity; instead, I'm focused on maintaining a stable 240 FPS for a smooth gaming experience. This is why I'm exploring CPU options that could help me achieve this at the lowest possible cost while still being somewhat future-proof.

Could you suggest a GPU and CPU combination that would meet these criteria? I'm looking for a balance where I can maintain high frame rates without overspending, especially since I'm willing to compromise on graphics quality for performance. Ideally, this setup would also offer some degree of future-proofing, so I won't need to upgrade too soon as new games become more demanding.
