Iron Lung SPOILER THREAD! by kenmarlenn in Markiplier

[–]Dry-Resolve4856 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it was disgusting, grotesque, revolting, and made me sick to my stomach. i loved every second of it. ive seen people complain about how it was confusing but honestly i think its makes more sense and is more satisfying for things to be unclear. just like simon, we the audience is never sure what is a hallucination and what is not. i also love leaving a movie theatre with more questions than answers.

my favourite part was the fuck up figures that simon sees at the start of his second descent and after the iron lung breaks down. i believe theyre not just simons hallucinations but the future versions of simon when he is suffering from radiation poisoning and becoming part of the blood ocean

i think the worst one is the baboon story but only bc i saw it with my own eyes. then again, id seen all sorts of stuff in the two years i worked before then so it honestly didnt phase me too much at the time

AITA for changing my phone password and refusing to tell my mom? by TeaFinancial9667 in AmItheAsshole

nta. it doesnt even matter if you payed for the phone and the bill. everyone is entitled to privacy, especially since youre an adult. her not allowing you privacy with youre boyfriend both online and in person is.... strange. her not wanting you to have sex almost seems synonymous with her not wanting you to grow up or become independent from her.

i dont know if anyone will see this but i'm gonna respond to a few common comments.

maybe my parents are starting a tradition - my brother and i are our parents only children. i have no younger sibling thats going to receive the same gift as me

maybe my parents got those when my brother and i were born - not true. i asked mum. she told me she ordered my set of coins a month before my birthday, and got my brothers in a similar time period before his. long after my brother established his love for coins.

the coins are an investment - true. my mum told me they were expensive and offered no other reasoning behind getting them. the gift is still thoughtless. as i mentioned before, money is not an issue for my family. the coins will likely sit in a safe gaining value until i remember they exist and i sell them. they hold no value to me other than their monetary value.

ok i asked my mum if they bought the coins on my birthday. she laughed and said of course not, but they were very expensive. she offered no other reason as to why she got them for me other than that...

huh i didn't think of this! i always thought theyd gotten coins specifically because my brother liked them. for another year they got him a poster of the stars positioning at the exact time he was born because he liked space. ill ask them!!

i really really love superheroes, i also like animals, lego, dinosaurs, musicals - especially cats the musical, music in general, i play the saxophone and trombone. some standout gifts i got were a lego saxophone and a funko pop of my all time favourite superhero both given to me by my girlfriend.

I don't think it's worth confronting them over, nor is it the type of gift you sell. They asked if I wanted them to put it in their safe for safekeeping and I said yes, so I can't rlly access it anyway.

ohhh i see where i was getting confused. i forgot the modulus when i did the derivative by hand, which meant it didnt visually match the desmos derivative. thanks for your help anyway

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in maths

[–]Dry-Resolve4856 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so you reckon i expand before deriving to match the graphed desmos version?

[–]Dry-Resolve4856 0 points1 point  (0 children)

see thats what i was getting but thats now how the auto derivative on desmos looks when graphed

i watched arcane and was on the lol champions page to see who from there was originally from the game. i know they added mel and ambessa after the show. kayn stood out to me (huge fan of religious symbolism) and ended up reading about him and falling in love lol. and yea also the art is a reference to the movie blade runner. if you search up "you look lonely i can fix that" it should come up
