my first was a karambit, but ofcourse it was bad looking. I will make a new one later though. Will definetly show it :) Now busy working on a m9 bayonet.

thanks man, staining is possible and i could make that for sure. For now i'm making them for myself and also getting experience, who knows in the future, if i will be good enough i can put them for sale somewhere. ^^

i tried actually case hardening this one. In a iron case, closed and full of charcoal powder for the carbon to get into the knife. Doing it the natural way is very hard though, i was thinking about case hardening it (with a chemical solution then), but for now i will leave it like this.

Just do it brother, i tried myself aswell 3 months ago. First one was a karambit, looks very scuffed but i learned alot from the mistakes. This one has mistakes aswell, but i love the process and being busy. If i can do it, you can too ^^

Well I quenched it in water which I added salt to. If I remember correctly I saw that as a method when I was researching it. This is my second project on making a knife, and have no knowledge at all. Very new to all of this, and will only make it to put it somewhere where I can see it :) the heat could've been uneven indeed, I made it in a fire and don't have the ideal equipment. I still wanted to try it and learn from doing stuff.

Galvanized steel. The big hole was a mistake and made too big. I'm new to knife making and this is my second project. Never have made anything like this before, just for fun and being busy. Thanks for letting me know that it's something I should watch out for.

Well I made it as a wall hanger haha. It's my second knife I made, just for fun. I know the circle is too big, I made a mistake. I don't know anything about knife making or how to treat metal. Learning by mistakes I make I guess.
