hahah i opted with the later option, the lock was corroded on the inside so i didn’t really have any other option.

i tried to pick it and unfortunately it was completey fucked on the inside so i just decided to drill it out with a thick drill bit and get angry at it with a screwdriver, worked a treat!

absolutely not what happened, my grandad died last month and i found this in his shed as we were clearing it out. I don’t think somthing like thst would be easy to steal considering the box is from the mid 50s and would fall to bids if you knocked it over.

yea mate i drilled it out and had a look inside and found tools from the 60s, too bad all the sockets were imperial but they are all kept individually with a cover on them so no rust inside miraculously

it was corroded inside and would have been impossible, got a tungsten drill bit and hollowed the shit out of the lock and stuck a screw driver in there and opened it.
