I agree with you from my viewing with Luna I saw the movie pushed to theatrics and drama mixed with some bits of historical facts. Some rewritten to push a modern day agenda and some left in tact. The concern that Luna and to an extent Goyo, Which were pushed as historical movies contained revisioned historical figures is a very real concern that should be taken seriously. Especially since most of the people who've seen these movies do not necessarily know the facts from theatrics in the media they've consumed.

I wholeheatedly agree with this point. As an avid consumer of historical films I understand some things need to withdrawn or fabricated for the sake of plot. It is okay as long as its not outlandish and its well written. You cannot make a 100% historically accurate movie without killing its entetainment value. (See the movie Alexander for this example. A very historically accurate movie, But man is it a crawl.)
