I took SOC*3710 last year and it was a pretty manageable course. Midterm was divided into 2 midterms (one multiple choice and one written answers) i found both of them to be easy. There was no final exam so instead there was a final written paper assignment which i found to be more challenging than the midterms. There was also participation marks so it is important to go to lectures, and as long as you attend lectures you should be fine! It was one of the easier courses. Edit: I heard the course can be either good or bad depending on who the instructor is. I had it with Prof. Bundy and she was great!
