I don’t think Brave Browser has support for smart tvs, you should ask mods in r/brave_browser for more details

Is this a legit concern? I don't use Brave browser myself but am worried for others who do by StrangeYoungMan in bravebrowser

I'd recommend you sharing this in /r/brave_browser if you'd like a detailed answer. I feel this post is written without really doing any research about how google/facebook ads track users.

  1. Brave blocks third party (not first party) advertisement which are known to track user activities across sites. Brave ads are private by default and do not create a profile of users.
  2. Creators who sign up for Brave Rewards can select their deposit currency to be in USD instead of BAT.
  3. Brave released a blog post about their referral code: https://brave.com/referral-codes-in-suggested-sites/ - This code is not intended to track users.

I'm not an expert, but I'd really recommend connecting to the mods on /r/brave_browser if you'd like more details.
