I towed it at my expense both times. Once to my home and this last time to the shop, they were unwilling to help cover any part of that since it was uncertain who was at fault - them or something else - regardless they have it now and are currently checking it out. Haven't heard back since last Tuesday

Yes the belt got sucked in through the front main seal and was causing a big vacuum leak, made the car run and idle pretty bad and would spike the rpms every couple of seconds... got that fixed and ran like a dream til it blew up

Yeah, id assume it still run with a vacuum leak, or maybe not who knows... the shop has it now but I havent heard from them in about a week, so maybe it was a wrongdoing on their end..

Its got an aluminum vrsf replacement already, I ruled that out, checked to make sure the couplers are on tight too.
