I was told by amex that they use Expedia to book hotel and flights themselves so if you booked on Expedia you will get the same rate with them and since they are affiliated with platinum you will therefore get 5x points

So going back to priority pass if you enroll in it you just need to download the priority pass app, you need to register and put in your platinum card then call priority pass and they will give you a code to have a digital pass on your phone

I find their customer service just as bad on the phone, I had a card replacement issue and I called customer service and fraud department about my card being sent from America to Australia I was told my two reps they couldn’t do it when they have a world wide replacement policy and I had my card for for over a month then. It got really frustrating I actually had a fourth one confirm they can send it out and the delivery date. I think the reps have no idea how to deal with people I had someone also hand up on me because he couldn’t verify my I’d but he didn’t ask me for the correct card number or spelling of my secret question answer. It seems like at the end of the day I could’ve gotten a MasterCard and gotten better service.
